Chapter 9

ELLIES POV:

"What are we going to do?" Riley asks me as we sit in his room looking on his laptop.

"I don't know," I answer, "I think Beau knows there is something up though."

"How?" Riley questions looking at me.

"He kept asking me if I was alright and he looked weird when I left the hospital," I say.

"Are you going to tell him?" Riley asks me.

"I don't know, should I?" I ask him.

"Maybe just wait, see if it stops and if it doesn't then tell him," he suggests.

"Okay," I answer. Riley smiles at me and lays down.

"Night," he mumbles.

"Night," I answer as I walk out his room into mine. I lay down on my bed and take a deep breath. I look at my phone as it vibrates on my beside table.

Blocked ID: Should I tell Beau or shouldn't I? He will know the REAL story soon anyway, I'll make sure of it.

That's it, I need to tell Beau before that bitch hurts him. People warned me to stay away from Beau when in fact it should have been them warning him to stay away from me.

~Next Morning~

"Ellie?" I hear someone as they lightly shake me. I open my eyes to see mum holding the home phone in her hands.

"Yeah?" I say as I stretch my arms.

"Doctor Chambers is on the phone for you," she says looking worried. My face drops as I take the phone hesitantly.

"Hello?" I manage to get out.

"Ellie so glad I was able to get a hold of you, I'm afraid have some bad news," she says with a shaky voice.

"She's out isn't she," I say hoping for a no as an answer.

"I'm afraid so," she answers.

"How did she get out? I thought all of this was under control. She is not stable," I say panicking.

"Ellie please calm down, we have our security looking for her everywhere. We have absolutely no idea of how she got out but we think she had been planning it for a while. She would always talk about getting revenge but we didn't really think any of it because of her condition," she says trying to calm me down.

"Did you know Riley was put in hospital because he was stabbed? We keep getting messages from a blocked number saying to watch out and stuff about my boyfriend. I think he is in danger you need to find her," I answer sternly.

"I didn't know that, I am so sorry Ellie. I don't know how she got out and I don't know what she wants. If you get any more texts please forward them to me. Also you need to tell your boyfriend if you are worried about his safety," Doctor Chambers apologises.

"Okay I will but please just find her, our family placed her in your care because you have the best facilities so you better find her soon," I answer her.

"Yes Ellie, we will, once again I am very sorry," she says to me.

"I have to go, goodbye," I answer her.

"Bye Ellie, we will contact you if we get her," she says before hanging up. Mum looks at me with wide eyes.

"She got out, they have no idea where she is," I say to mum.

"I will go tell Riley and dad. You need to go speak to Beau about this okay," mum answers before walking out the door. I get up and put on some trackies and a jumper Beau left at mine last week. I make my way over to the Brooks' yard before knocking on the door.
