ELLIES POV:

"Thanks doctor," I say whilst shaking.

"No worries Ellie, call me if you have any concerns," he answers before I walk out the door and shut it behind me. The video he shows me of when she first came here replays over and over in my head. Those cruel words…

'When I get out of here I will take away the one thing that matters to you because you took away what mattered most to me. I will destroy you.'

I know she is talking about me. Back when we were nine I stole the only thing that mattered to her as a joke. Back when we were kids Grace was very close to my cousin Amelia. They were best friends because at school Grace was very quiet and didn’t have any friends. Grace and Amelia had the accident and Amelia was hit really bad. Grace watched Amelia die and just before she did Amelia gave Grace her charm bracelet to remember her. Grace treasured that thing with her life. One day Luke, Jai, Riley and I were playing at my house and we thought it would be funny to take the bracelet and hide if for an hour so Grace would freak. As we took it I put it in my pocket and it accidently fell out and we lost it. I had to face Grace and tell her and she simply never talked to me again after that. I know it was just a bracelet but it was her only piece of Amelia that she had left. I felt so bad for it but I didn’t think she was going to be this crazy about it.

I walk down the hall past all the rooms, this place actually scares me. I pick up the pace when I see some lady staring at me creepily through her door, it is like a horror movie here. I hand the office lady my tag and say thanks. I then sit down and wait for Zane to come back.

"Ellie can you come with me? Jake wants to meet you," he smiles hopefully.

"Sure," I smile before getting up and walking with Zane. We get to a massive room where there is tables and lounges and stuff. I see men and woman around my age sitting at the tables playing chess and cards. They look peaceful. I see a boy who looks just like Zane sitting at a table.

"Jake, this is Ellie," Zane speaks slowly. Jake looks up at me and smiles.

"Hi," he says.

"Hello," I smile back. Zane sits down so I do the same.

"So how did you meet Zane?" Jake asks me.

"On the train here," I answer. Jake nods before putting looking at me weirdly.

"You, I have seen you before," he says. Great he has seen the crazy sibling.

"You've seen my triplet sister," I correct him.

"I'm a triplet too," he says.

"Zane told me," I smile.

Jake smiles before speaking again, "Grace, I haven't seen her around here in a few weeks."

"A few weeks, really?" I ask.

"Yeah, the last time I saw her in here was three weeks and two days ago. You should see her, she has made so much progress," Jake says. I don’t say a word back, I just nod and smile.

That can't be right, Grace escaped a few days after she got in. How did Jake see her three weeks ago when she was bothering me?

"Are you friends with Grace?" I ask Jake.

"Yeah, she really helped me. We helped each other," Jake says.

"That's good," I answer, "Did she ever talk about me?"
