Chapter 16

ELLIES POV:

We have been at Hogs Breath for about an hour now just talking to each other. I scan around our group for someone I haven't spoken to. Jai! I look at him sitting by himself on his phone, what a surprise.

"Jai," I say as I sit next to him. He looks up from his phone and smiles before locking it.

"What's up?" he asks as he puts his phone in his pocket.

"You just looked like a loner over here so I thought I would come talk to you," I laugh.

Jai laughs along with me, "I was just talking to Ariana."

"How is she?" I ask.

"Good, she is going to a meet and greet soon," Jai answers looking upset.

"What's wrong?" I ask moving closer to him.

"Nothing, I just miss her," he says looking really upset.

I pull him in for a hug, "I know you do, but you get to see her in a few weeks."

"I wish I could see her everyday," he sighs.

"I know," I answer as I rub his back.

"Oi come on we’re going laser tag now," Luke calls out to Jai and I. I pull out of the hug and look to see the boys already heading out of the restaurant.

"Come on," I say as I put my hand out. Jai smiles and takes it as I pull him up.

"I'm gonna shoot you so bad," Jai laughs.

"Please, I am the best at this!" I laugh as we hop into Beaus car.

"Oi Beau turn up the radio!" James yells as Beau takes off after Skip's car. Beau does as James says and turns it up. We all start belting out the lyrics to So Good.

"Girl tell me how you feel, what your fantasy, I see us on a beach down in Mexico, you can put your feet up, be my senorita, we ain't gotta rush, just take it slow, you'll be in the high life, soaking up the sunlight, anything you want, it's yours, I'll have you living life like you should, you say you never had it so good, la lala lala lalaaa, you never had it so good, la lala lala lalaaa!" we all sing as we drive down the street. James and I are dancing in the back while Jai is singing like an opera singer. Beau is sitting there laughing at how silly we all look.

Finally after singing our hearts out we arrive at the laser tag place.

"Woah this is massive," I say as I look at the huge building in front of us.

"Yeah there is different floors that you can go in, there is a space theme, a jungle theme, a glow theme, a city theme and a volcano theme floor. It is pretty mad," Jai announces.

"It sounds so good," I answer.

"Let's go already," Skip complains as he pulls Beau along towards the entrance being the kid he is.

"Okay baby Daniel," Beau whines at Skip laughing. We all follow Beau and Skip through the doors and towards the counter.

"Hey we wanted to play an hour game is that's alright?" Beau asks the girl sitting behind the counter.

"Yeah sure, how many is playing?" she asks.

"Seven thanks," Beau smiles.

"Okay that will be twenty dollars for the each of you," she says. We all hand her our money then she leads us into a room. There is laser tag guns hanging on the walls and a massive screen.

"So everyone grab a gun then watch the screen. When that is finished the doors will open automatically and you will be given three minutes to go to a floor. There are five floors so choose wisely, have fun!" the girl says before walking out. We all grab a gun off the rails and wait for them to light up. It turns out that I am on a team with Jai and James so we will be versing Skip, Luke, Riley and Beau, a bit unfair if you ask me.
