Chapter 34

Finally an update! Woo haha!

BEAUS POV:

"How is she doing?" Luke asks me as him, Riley and Ellie's dad Jason walk in the door.

"She hasn't made any progress," I answer glumly.

"She'll make it though, I know my sister," Riley reassures me.

"Beau maybe you should go home and get some rest, you have been here the whole time," Jason says.

"I can't, I want to be here if she wakes up," I answer stubbornly.

"Beau seriously, you need a good nights sleep. Mum wants you home, she's worried," Luke says to me.

I sigh and look down at Ellie, "Fine. But I am coming back first thing tomorrow."

"Alright," Luke smiles.

"Can you please call me if she wakes up?" I ask Jason.

"I promise you will be the first I call," Jason says patting my back. I nod back and kiss Ellie's forehead softly.

"You really love her don’t you?" Jason says.

"More than anything in this world," I reply.

"Good, she needs someone like you," he answers looking at Ellie. I stand there for a minute watching her before leaving the room for the first time in three weeks.

As I walk out of the hospital doors with Luke the light blinds me. Being in that place for three weeks really deprives you of sunlight. My skin has gone so pale and now Luke is darker than me.

"Do you want me to drive?" Luke asks looking at me. I shake my head and hop into the drivers seat while Luke sits in the passenger seat. I start the car and drive away from the hospital and back home.

"Beau!" mum runs up to me and hugs me tightly as I step into the door of our house.

"Mum," I answer.

"I'm so sorry," she says looking me in the eyes. I can feel my eyes welling up with tears.

"It's o-okay," I struggle to say.

"How is she?" mum asks as I sit down on the lounge next to Luke and Jai.

"Same as she was before," I answer. Mum runs out of the room and soon comes back with a cup of coffee.

"Thanks mum," I say sculling the coffee. I haven't had anything to energise me since the day Ellie tried to commit. I don’t even care that it burns my throat, at least it's taking the pain away from my head.

"I'm gonna go back to the hospital for half an hour cause Grace is there," Luke says to mum while hopping up.

"I'll come," Jai offers hopping up as well. I groan in frustration knowing mum won’t let me go.

"Okay boys. Beau go have a shower and get into some fresh clothes then off to bed okay?" mum says taking the empty cup from me.

"Yes mum," I answer before getting up and trudging to the bathroom. I quickly have a shower then hop into some clean clothes. I look over at my clock as I flop down onto my bed. It is only eight o'clock and mum is making me go to bed. Great.

I take out my phone and browse through twitter and stuff, then I get an idea. If I call Ellie's phone I will be able to hear her voice. I quickly dial the number and listen as it rings. Just as I suspected it rings out and plays her voice mail.

"Hey you have reached Ellie, sorry I can't get to the phone right now. I am probably with my amazing boy but leave a message and I will get back to you, bye."
