Picture: Gif of Oli.. Being Oli. Literally my favortie face of his.
Song: Secret Life; Thriving Ivory
Oli and I drove back in silence. I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I think Oli did to. We both needed each other, and it felt good knowing that we were both more comfortable with each other.
We finally neared town. I felt as though I had been gone for years. When I was with Oli, time almost stood still.
We finally got to the venue, which now stood empty. The tents and tables were all gone, packed tightly away in the bus. The guys all stood outside, chatting lightly. Jona was the first to spot us. He smiled and waved us over.
"Hey, Brodie. Cassie helped us pack you some stuff. I hope we grabbed what you needed," he said, pulling me into a warm but unexpected hug. I hugged him back. I had a feeling if Oli and I continued seeing each other, Jona and I could become very close.
The rest of the band started climbing on the bus. Suddenly, I heard wild screams of joy. expecting to see some last minute fan girls, I turned to see Jake and Cameron rushing toward me, arms out stretched. The both reached me at the same time, grabbing wildly at me and hugging me fiercely.
"Brodie, you made it! Matt said we were going to have to leave without you two!" Cameron said, They finally let me go and looked me over.
"Wow, Brod. I didn't know you cleaned up so well," Jake said. I didn't agree. Most of my make up had gotten cried off, and the once tight curls were now hanging loosely around my face. I sighed. It was nice while it lasted.
We climbed onto the bus. Cameron and Jake lead me to the back of the bus.
"Lee said we could stay back here. You don't mind sharing with us, right?" Jake asked. I smiled and shook my head. These boys were my best friends. How could I mind? Cameron handed me my bag, filled with clothes and shower stuff. Cassie was really amazing. I owed her big time.
After I put my stuff away, I went back to the front of the bus. The band was sitting on the couches, chatting lightly. The driver shouted from the front of the bus, asking if we were ready.
"All set, captain!" Matty shouted, and we took off. I went and curled up next to Oli, resting my head against his chest. His fingers twirled the ends of my hair. Cameron, Lee and Jona started playing video games. The rest of us talked lightly. The band was excited. I could practically feel it in the air.
We finally neared the edged of town. It was dark outside, and I started to feel my eyes grow tired.
"I think I'm going to go to bed," i said softly to Oli.
"Me too. I'm pretty tired," he said, grabbing my hand and lifting me off the couch. The others were starting to get tired too, all except Jake and Cameron. They were to excited about the concert and hanging out with the band.
Oli lead me back to my makeshift bed. As I curled up, he covered me with a light blanket.
"Good night, Brodie. I hope you sleep well," he said softly, kissing my fore head. I mumbled goodnight, and he left then, going to his own bunk. I felt myself drift off into a deep sleep. I couldn't wait for tomorrow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up sharply. My whole world felt like it was moving. Where was I? I shot up, almost knocking myself of whatever I was sleeping on, I felt someone move at my feet.
"Cassie?" I asked softly. A low mumble erupted from the sleeping lump. It wasn't Cassie. Then I remembered. I was on the tour bus, heading to Oli's next concert. I sighed with relief. I was in the back lounge, and Cameron and Jake were sound asleep somewhere below me. I carefully crawled out of my tangled blanket and found my way to the bathroom. I did my business and washed my hands.
When I exited, I thought about crawling back into my bed, but decided against it. I slowly moved out of the lounge in the direction of Oli's bunk. I wasn't sure which on was his, so I carefully pulled back one of the curtains, I had guessed right. He was sound asleep, snoring softly. I carefully eased under the blanket with him, trying not to wake him. I curled around his side, resting my head on his chest. He stirred slightly. I held my breath. I didn't want him to wake up and get upset. I just wanted to be near him.
I felt his arm curl around me, and his face pressed into my neck.
"Hello, beautiful," he said, his voice barely audible. I smiled and relaxed.
"Hi."
"Can't sleep?"
"Not really."
"Stay here then," he said, pulling me closer. I felt that flutter my heart again as he caressed the top of my head. I didn't even know how it was possible. Three days? Was I going in to deep? I couldn't help myself even if I was; Oli just felt right. And I knew that he felt the same about me. I felt him drift back asleep, still holding onto me. I tried to relax and fall asleep to. But I couldn't get my mind to shut off.
Maybe this was to much. Maybe I should go back to my bed. Maybe I'm going to far. Maybe I'm just thinking I'm falling in love with him. The annoying thoughts bounced around inside my head, tourmenting my every thought until I finally fell into a fitful sleep.
