I somehow found my way back to the bus. Everyone was laughing and screaming at how successful the show was. The bands went to the tents for the meet and greet. I finally found Jake and Cameron. They were both pretty drunk and covered in even more bruises. Jake had his arm draped around a pretty girl. She had medium length brown hair and big brown eyes with thick, pretty lashes. Her warm smile greeted me as I walked over to them.
"Hey guys, did you like the show?" I asked, pulling them both into a huge hug.
"Uh, duh! The man of your dreams just asked you to be his girlfriend in front of thousands of people!" Jake said. "By the way, this is Elexus. I saved her from a crowd surfer who was going to take her out with his fat ass," he said. He pulled her closer and she smiled, blushing slightly.
"Hi Elexus. I'm Brodie," I said, sticking my hand out to shake her's. She shyly shook mine back.
"She didn't believe us that we knew you and the band. Did you get to meet the guys from Asking Alexandria?" Cameron said.
"Yes! I cried like a freaking baby," I said. "And who could blame the poor girl. Now she's feeling the same way I was, going to get to meet the band and hang out with them, right?" I said. She nodded.
"I thought he was pulling my leg, trying to get me to hang out with him. Until Ben came up to them and asked if they were staying to party. I cried on the inside when Ben hugged me and told me to stay too," she said. I smiled. I liked this girl. I hoped Jake did to.
"Well, I can promise you, they are a bunch of weirdos who love Spongebob and coffee. Besides, where did you two take off today?"
"Hanging out with Asking Alexandria. We watched them compose Fifteen Fathoms and Counting together. Talk about amazing, and it sounded even better on stage, and your reaction was just as we hoped it would be," Jake said.
"So I take it that was a Bring Me The Horizon song?"
"Yes. Brodie, you are now officially dating a rock star. Don't you think maybe it's time to get into his music?" Cameron said.
"You didn't listen to them before?" Elexus said. She had a questioning look in her eyes, but I could tell she was genuinely interested.
"I know, I sound like a total goon. But I really had no idea who they were, so don't judge." I said. She just smiled.
"How could I judge? You're dating Oliver Sykes, and I'm getting the privilege of hanging out with them," she said.
"It's not much of a privilege," James said. He had snuck up behind us, and now had his arm draped around my shoulder.
"What do you want, goony?" I asked, brushing him off. One thing about both bands, they were both very touchy, not that I minded to much.
"Help. Come on," he said, grabbing my hand.
"I guess I'll see you guys later," I called over my shoulder. James lead me to their tour bus. It looked like our's, but it had their logo scrawled across it. The inside was a total wreck.
"Sorry, we don't have an OCD member in our band, so it's a shit hole," he said. I knew he was talking about Matt. He was a shy guy, but he did like to keep a clean house. Well, bus anyway.
"What do you need help with?" I asked, clearing a space away on the couch.
"Booze run," he said, smirking. I sighed. Sounded like we were getting shit faced tonight. He grabbed some keys off the cluttered counter and a leather jacket. "Here," he said, tossing it to me.
