Okay, so this chapter is loosely based off of the music video To The Stage by Asking Alexandria. I give all credit to it for the original idea. I just kinda added to it and went into more detail. So if you haven't seen it, I posted it on the side. Check it out so you can see where I'm coming from. I hope you all like where this is going. More stuff, well more exciting stuff will be happening soon. So keep reading/voting and let me know what you think. Read on, my way ward sons.
Again, all original credit goes the creators of the music video and Asking Alexandria. Thanks again.-Quinni
Oli and I got into my aunt's car and took off after the rest of the gang. I let Oli drive since he knew where he was going and he would have a better idea of where to find Danny. I could tell he was still pissed off. I was a little upset too, but I was more worried about Danny. i mean, he was my friend, and I hoped nothing bad had happened to him.
"He's probably just passed out in some corner somewhere," Oli said, obviously able to sense my fear . I reached over and patted his leg slightly. I wasn't sure if I was comforting myself or Oli. His warm hand held my hand. I smiled. Despite what was going on, I couldn't help but to smile. Oli loved me. He actually said it. He loved me. And I loved him to. I rested my hand on his leg. His fingers curled around mine.
"Sorry about all this," he said sadly.
"It's okay. Danny is my friend. I'm worried about him," I said. Although I wasn't as close to Danny as I was to some of the other guys, I still loved him and I was worried about him. "Where do you think he is?" I asked quietly.
"Fuck knows with him. He does this shit all the time. He runs off with some bimbo and then she leaves him and he's to drunk to notice, and then he passes out, and we have no idea where he is," Oli spat. He was really angry.
"Oli, stop. There is no need for this," I said, removing my hand from his leg. He sighed heavily and gripped the steering wheel tighter.
"Brod, what is the deal with you and your mom?" he asked after a bit. He was calmer now.
"I don't know," I said, staring out into the clean fresh air as it whipped through my hair.
"Ive never noticed that tattoo before," he said.
"I tried to hide it from you."
"Why? It's rather large to be hiding," he said slowly.
"Because I didn't want you to ask questions. I hid it pretty well last time," I said. I wished he would let it go. I didn't want to talk about it. I hadn't spoken to my mom since the night I found out about Marci's cancer. I called her and asked her, and she just played dumb, trying to tell me Marci was just sick and she would be just find, and that Marci was over reacting about my no where to be seen uncle. I yelled at her and told her she was the unreasonable one. We hadn't spoken since.
"How long are you going to keep your relationship with her a secret from me," he asked quietly. I sighed heavily.
"When I'm ready to talk about it, okay? I don't want to talk about it ans I wished you hadn't even asked. she pretty much hates me and acts like I'm not even her daughter, although around other people she pretends she loves me and I'm the best daughter ever, When I drew this the rose for her, I showed it to her at my last parent teacher meeting, since it was my final project before I graduated, and she praised me and said she loved it so much, so the next day I went to get it tattooed for her since she loved it so much. It was a surprise. Then I found out she was only saying that about it because there wad people around. She thinks I wasted my time and my money on it. I hate it and I want to get it removed but it's to fucking big and I just hate it," I said. Tears rolled down my face. I hadn't told that story to anyone, not even Cassie. My mom's feelings for me left right along with her feelings for my father. She was an emotionless ball of human being, pretending to love everything and actually care, when she really didn't.
