I don't really know what came over me, messing with Oli like that. I couldn't help myself. It was a big move for me. I wasn't usually like that. He didn't seem to mind though.

I climbed back on the bus. I thought about going with the band to their interview, but I knew Oli would need to focus. I had no idea where Cameron and Jake were. Maybe they went with the band.

I went over to the fridge and pulled out the orange juice, I poured myself a glass. I took a long drink, then filled it back up. I went back to Oli's bunk. I figured I should put his bag back, since I had gotten into it and stolen a shirt. I smiled. It was big on me, but I had it tired up in the back with a hair tie, making it ride up a little, showing off my stomach.

After I had everything put back where I found it, I crawled into his bunk. His smell floated into my nose, filling my every thought. It was like my own drug. I smiled, hugging his pillow. I decided I should call my mom. I pulled out my phone and punched in her number. She picked up on the second ring.

"Brodie! Hi, honey! How are you?" she asked excitedly.

"Hey mom, I'm good. How's everything back home?"

"It's alright. Pretty boring, really. We miss you," she said. I wished I believed her. I doubted she missed me as much as she said she did.

"I miss you guys, too," I said, I felt my eyes water.

"How's England?" she asked. She didn't seem to noticed that I was upset. But she usually never did.

"Everything is... great, really great, mom," I said. I decided not to tell her about Oli.

"How's Marci?"

"She's fine. She doesn't seem sick," I said. My mom didn't say anything.

"How is Cassie getting along?"

"I guess she's alright."

"You guess?"

"Yeah?"

"Well okay. Well I'll let you go. honey. Call me again sometime. I like hearing your voice," she said.

"I will, mom."

"I love you, sweetheart," she said, clicking the phone off.

"I love you too," I said into the empty receiver. Tears started falling down my face. My mom just wasn't the same any more after my dad left her. She floated through life, empty and sad, although she pretended everything was fine. I wiped the tears away, suddenly feeling tired. I closed my eyes, letting myself drift into sleep.

"Brodie? Brodie honey, wake up," a soft voice called. I groaned, unable to open my eyes. "Brodie, come on, the show is almost starting, and we have some people that want to meet you," the voice called again.

"I don't want to go anymore," I said, still refusing to open my eyes. I knew it wasn't Oli waking me; he would have been more forceful.

"Brodie, please," the voice begged. It belonged to Matty. I rolled to face him, cracking one eye open. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, smiling softly. "Please, Brod," he asked softly. I felt his arm slide under me, pulling me up.

"Matty, don't. I just want to sleep," I said, trying to lay back down, but he wouldn't let me. I finally gave up my struggle, leaning into him heavily.
