I watched Brodie leave with Matty. I didn't want her to go. I wanted her to stay there with me. I almost asked her to, but I knew she was still a little unsure about the whole deal. I sighed, and ran my fingers through my long hair. I wanted to prove to her that I really did like her, and that I wasn't a creepy rock star just looking for some ass.

I turned back to the tent. Jona and Lee were asleep on the couch together. I swear, they were gay for each other. I plopped down next to Matt and sighed. He handed me another beer, and I cracked it open and took a swig.

"So, how'd it go?" he asked.

"She thinks I'm creepy."

"I don't think so. I think she's just a little over whelmed. I mean, look at it from her standpoint. She's just a girl in a sea of faces, and suddenly, this incredibly good looking rock star won't stop staring, and she thinks she's dreaming. Then she gets invited to stay after, drinks a few beers, and spends the majority of the evening with him, spilling her guts and still debating if this is all for real," he said. Matt was a smart guy. He was probably right.

"I just want to show her I'm not just looking to get laid. I really do like her. I can't explain it, man. She's just..." I said, trailing off.

"I know. I watched you tonight, remember. You couldn't stop staring."

"I feel drawn  to her. When I grabbed her hand, sparks flew. I felt my whole body shiver, and I did't want to let go," I said. I downed the rest of my beer, I was well beyond drunk, spilling my guts to Matt. He nodded and listened to me prattle about our conversation.

"Look, you have her number. Just text her, but don't over whelm. Just be cool," he said. "It'll all work out."

Matty came back then, all smiles.

"Hey man," he said, sitting next to me.

"Hey," I said quietly.

"Look dude, I talked to her. She likes you to, you know?"

"Really?"

"Yeah. She's just a little unsure. Give it time dude, She'll come around," he said.

"See? I told you," Matt said.

I nodded, trying to calm myself. Brodie would come around. I'd text her in the morning. I wouldn't pressure her about the concert. As much as I wanted her there, I tried to give her space. Her aunt did need her, so I'd be good and let her come around.

Matt and Matty helped me drag Cameron and Jake into our bus. We covered them up, and then I went back to my bunk. We left Jona and Lee. They would come to bed when they were ready.

I crawled in my bed and took out my phone. I found Brodie's number and sent her a message.

Goodnight, beautiful. I hope you sleep well.

I knew she would be sleeping, but at least it would give her something to wake up to. I rolled over and looked out my small window. I thought about how much I really did like her. He soft blond hair, big eyes that seemed endless. I could stare into them for days, and never get sick of them. She was tiny, but I liked that about her. I  loved listening to her talk. She told me about her tattoos, and her brother, her crazy ex. I didn't even know the guy, but I didn't like him. He wasn't nice to her.

I closed my eyes, trying to sleep. I wasn't being very successful. I wanted her here with me. I was starting to scare myself. I had never wanted anyone this badly before. Maybe I was laying it on to thick.

I shook myself. No, Brodie would come around when she was ready. I would just be patient and stay with her until she was ready. It was a lot for  her to handle. I finally started to drift away into a deep slumber. praying that Brodie would walk with me in my dreams.

"Oli, I was kidding. I really didn't like you. I just wanted to hang out with the band. I'm obviously a better actress than I thought, because I sure fooled you!" Brodie said. She laughed at me. I felt a tear fall down my face.

"Brodie, what's the matter with you?" I asked desperately. I didn't want this to be happening. This couldn't be happening.

"Silly rock star. Did you really think I wanted you?"

"Yes... I thought you did too..." more tears slid down my face. This isn't real, I told myself.

"I'm not stupid. I know you wanted in my pants the whole time," she spat. She was angry now.

"Brodie, you know that's not true. Please... don't go," I said.

"Ha, you're such an idiot." she said. She walked away then, flipping her soft hair over her shoulder.

"Don't go..." I whispered. Tears fell faster and faster now, splashing all over the ground. "Come back..."

I woke up fast, hitting my head on the roof of my bunk.

"Fuck, ow," I said, rubbing the sore spot. I shook my head, trying to clear my head of the awful dream. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, and felt my head again. There was a small bump where I had made contact with the ceiling. I groaned, and tried to roll out of bed. The sheets were tangled around my legs. I must have slept fitfully.

"Oli, are you okay? That sounded like you head,"Jona said from above me. I groaned my response. I untangled myself and flipped out of bed. Everyone else was still asleep. Jona hopped down from his bunk and looked at me questioningly.

"You alright, mate?" he asked.

"Yeah, bad dream," I mumbled. I trudged to the front of the bus and began making coffee. I looked at the two sleeping bundles on the couch. Jake and Cameron were still asleep, one of them snoring softly. Jona came in behind me and got down two mugs.

I shuffled to the fridge, getting out the milk. Jona grabbed the cereal out and two bowels. He poured us both some, and I added the milk. The coffee was ready, and I got us both a full mug. I sat down at the small table, eating quietly. Jona sat across from me, digging into his own breakfast.

"So, you wanna talk about it?" he asked without looking up.

"Brodie didn't want me," I said, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Well, good thing it was all just a dream, huh?" he said. He had a huge smile on his face.

"What?"

"Have you checked your phone this morning?"

"No," I said, springing up from the table. I ran back to my bunk, almost running over Matty.

"Morning, Oli," he muttered, yawning and stretching.

"Morning," i said quickly, throwing open my curtain. I grabbed my phone from the spot I left it last night and checked it. I had two messages.

Morning, good looking. Hope you slept well. (:

Can I come over later?

"She wants to come over!" I shouted, toppling backward off my bunk. I landed on Lee, who wasn't quite awake yet.

"Jesus, Oli. What's your deal?" he said angrily. He always had the worst hang overs out of us all. He shoved me off, shuffling to the kitchen, rubbing his shoulder where I hit him. I ran out after him and looked excitedly at the guys.

"She wanted to come over! She asked me to come over!" I said. The guys all laughed. Jona handed my the rest of my coffee, and I downed it in a few gulps.

"I gotta go get ready," I said, I quickly typed back a reply, and told her to come over in an hour. Her reply came fast.

I'll see you soon. (:

I grabbed some fresh clothes and headed for the shower. The memory of my bad dream was faded from my memory. I was going to see my Brodie today.
