Every now and then, I caught Y/n staring at Raph, with a peculiar look on her face. I didn't like it.

But Y/n wasn't the only one, Raph has also been weird. He's not as explosive or rude. He's not exactly skipping in a field of daisies, but he smiles to himself every now and then...WITHOUT SPIKE!

I felt like I should ask Y/n about it, but I'm afraid of what she'll say.

I'm always afraid, and I'm tired of it. Soon, I'll get the courage to tell her how I feel. I can't do anything else to impress her that I haven't already tried, 'and failed at.' I just need the right time, and courage.

"Donnie?"

I almost fell out of my chair! "Yes Y/n?" 'I hope I didn't think out-loud again!'

'I'm boooored! Entertain meeee!" she smiled and sat in the seat adjacent to mine.

"Let me try then! Knock-Knock!"

"Nooo! Tell me a story!" she playfully demanded.

"What type of story?" I asked smiling at her. She's so cute when she's like this! Too bad it's not often...

She looked thoughtful for a second, "Your childhood."

That surprised me.

"Are you sure? Does are boring though since we couldn't leave the lair until recently."

"But I already know about your recent history!"

"Alright alright. If you insist. Hmmm..." I racked my brain for something that wouldn't bore her away.

Y/n's P.O.V.

He's so adorable when he's excited! Donatello often made many hand gestures when he was like this.

"Now," he started after he was done. "Tell me something about you."

"Like what?"

"Anything ... I want to know more about you," he said looking away while I burned red.

"Then ask, and I'll probably answer."

He considered it, "Okay, Marvel or D.C.?"

"Damn, I don't know...it's a case by case kind of thing..."

"Okay, Iron Man or Batman?"

"Iron Man. Batman's great and all, but Tony's humor beats Bruce's emotions any day. "

"Favorite color?"

"(f/c)."

"Favorite food?"

"(f/f)."

"Love or money?"

"95% of the time, love."

"What do you mean?" he asked, confused.

"It depends on how strong the love, how much the money, and especially if the love is mutual."

"I-I guess that makes sense. Why lose 50 million dollars for a small unrequited crush, right?"

The conversation seemed to hit an awkward dead end. He also seemed to be ignoring me too.

"Well, I'm going to go back, goodnight."

He turned to look, seemingly surprised, but nonetheless, nodded.
