A/N: Just a quick note, guys! This is a super long chapter, but I needed/wanted all this to happen now! Also, there is a slightly graphic depiction of a violent scene happening towards the middle of this chapter, so if you don't want to read it, message me and I will give you a non-violent summary of what happens in this chapter!

Let me know what you think in the comments! SO MUCH HAPPENS IN THIS CHAPTER!

"Is that supposed to mean something to me?" I asked. The alarm continued to go off, echoing through the building. Something big was happening, and this could be my only chance to escape. If I didn't take it, who knows how long I'll be here, or what they will do to me, especially after what I just did with the scepter.

Loki sighed, and gave me an annoyed look. "I suppose you wouldn't know." He walked towards me, and pushed me back onto the bed.

He was strong, way stronger than I had expected based on his looks. "What are you?" I asked, trying to stand back up. He held me to the bed and, seemingly out of nowhere, new binds appeared, encircling my wrists, holding them once again firmly to the bed.

"No, please! I have to get out of here!" I pleaded. "They'll kill me!"

Loki laughed. It was a cold laugh, full of amusement. "As if they could even try to kill you. You have no idea, do you, just how powerful you are?"

"What are you talking about? Do you know why they brought me here?" I asked, my eyes wide with desperation.

"They brought you here because I told them to." Loki said this as if it should have been obvious to me. As he talked, he wandered around the room, picking up various tools. "You were in New York when the Chitauri attacked, were you not? You saw the tesseract's power."

"The tesseract? I don't know what that is. What does the battle of New York have to do with this? Do you know about the blue light, or about this scepter?" The questions came flooding out of my mouth. I couldn't stop them. "Wait, were you-"

Just as the binds had appeared seemingly out of nowhere, so did a muzzle around my mouth. It covered the lower half of my face, and I was completely unable to speak. All the sound I could make was meaningless, muffled, grunts.

"That's better." Loki said, rolling his eyes. "Now, as I was saying. When I was here before, I briefly corresponded with HYDRA. I knew I wouldn't be able to look for you while I was planning the attack on New York, so I needed someone to do the brunt of the work for me.

"That's where these idiots came in." He said, motioning around him. "I told them how to find you. I told them what I could about your powers and I told them to bring you to me."

His smile was back, and it was sickening. He spoke with malicious intent guarded by a cool calm tone. It was unnerving, to say the least.

"After the Avengers interfered with my plan, I had to go away for a while." This was said through gritted teeth. If I were able to, I would have smiled at his frustration. "So, I wasn't able to finish my plan with you, until now."

"This scepter and the tesseract both get their power from an ancient source; the Infinity Gems. They are the most powerful items in the universe. There is someone out there who is trying to collect all the Infinity Gems. He is trying to become unstoppable, and I am working for him.

"Well, at least, he thinks I am working for him. I'm exploring my options, shall we say. One of those options is you."

I tried to access the power of the scepter again. I needed to get out of this. I didn't know what this Loki was planning, but it clearly wasn't good. I felt the scepter's power. It still flowed through my veins, but I wasn't strong enough to control it, not again.
