Red looks at me and says "are you okay Lizzie"
I nod, not trusting myself to speak yet.
He asks "where did you go this morning?"
I say "just for a walk, I needed to do some things"
He doesn't push and just says "I'm here for you anytime Lizzie"
I hug him and he is surprised, I tell him "thank you so much"
He is now confused "what for?"
"Everything" I tell him
He says "you're welcome but I am afraid we need to leave here sometime this week"
I nod and say "where to?"
"Russia" he says
We sit in silence and I know I have to tell him, but how will he respond. What are you meant to do being pregnant and on the run, I know I will keep it as I don't really believe in people getting an abortion.
I snap out of my thinking when I hear Red calling my name, "are you okay" he asks "I've been calling your name for the last minute"
I nod and say "I'm fine, just thinking"
"Alright then" he says
Dembe walks up and says "Lunch is ready"
We walk downstairs to the kitchen to start eating when the smell hits me. I say "be back soon and rush to my bathroom"
