A boy around our age asks staring at us. A faded backpack hanging from his back, and drumsticks in the butt-pocket of his black skinny jeans, sweating from the heat. 'He's kinda cute' I think, with his curly blonde hair and short stature.

"Are any of you Calm Hood?"

It takes me a moment to actually process what the cute blonde was saying. But I'm taken out of my daydreaming gaze by Calum saying, "Yea that's me".

Michael puts me down and we me over to ear Luke and Calum are already standing next to cutie, he begins to speak.

"Ahhh... you're cousin sent me to audition, I heard you're looking for a drummer?" he says with a nervous tinge in his voice, scratching the back of his neck. He glances over at me then looks away quickly, looking down, his cheeks turning a light shade of red. I blush too, trying to hide behind my hair so Luke wouldn't see. He doesn't take it well when guys, other then the boys, talk to me. "I...I'm sorry I'm late my car broke down and I had to drive my bike," He says gesturing to the two-wheeler he's holding the handlebars to.

"That's alright mate, actually..."

"W...we...we are going out for pizza..." Stumbles from my mouth, I mentally face-palm at my awkwardness. 'Why does my mouth do this?!' I think. Even though  I'm around teenage boys all the time I am still no good at talking to them, especially, curly, cute, blonde ones. I decide to say no more and revert back to hiding behind my hair, that's the safest place for me to be right now I think, before I embarrass myself further.

"Good idea Ly," Luke says turning to me. "Why don't you come with us, and then we can come back and you can show us what you've got later," Luke smiles at the boy, obviously unaware of my still-blushing cheeks from the earlier awkwardness on my behalf.

"That sounds great," the boy smiles. 'Oh god, the dimples!' I think, my eyes instantly attract themselves to the sight. I look away as soon as I'm aware that I'm openly gawking, and check the boys faces to make sure they haven't noticed, 'nope, all-good, phew,' I think, 'Can't be caught staring at our possible-new drummer'. "I'm Ashton, by the way.", the boy speaks again in a more general conversational tone, seemingly less nervous then before. The boy, Ashton, gestures toward his bike again, "Ahhh... could I possible lean this against your house?" he says directing the question toward the boys.

"Yea, sure, go ahead," Luke says pointing towards the side of the garage. Ashton goes over and leans his bike against it, before walking back to us smiling. "Let's go," he says grinning.
