*Two days later*
We were meant to meet that boy today at three, it's now three thirty and from the looks of it he's a no show. Great, our one chance of getting a decent drummer and he doesn't turn up, what a waste of time.
"Looks like he's not gonna turn up," Calum says, "Wanna go for pizza at Dominoes?"
We all nod, we are definitely not the kind of people to turn down a offer of pizza. We start to pack our stuff up, Michael takes the amps and guitars inside and me and Luke crash on the old, ratty burgundy couch we got from the neighbour's for $10 last summer holidays.
Luke turns to me, "I'm really disappointed Ly, I mean another dead end with the drummer thing. It's really irritating having Michael, who's the best at guitar not being able to play because he has to try to keep the beat for the rest of us on the drums." I agree, nodding my head. None of us are nearly as good as Michael on the guitar and having him try to make up for the lack of drummer when he could be out front showing everyone else up was not great to say the least.
"C'mon guys let's go,"
Calum and Mike say while standing behind the couch trying to tip me and Luke off.
"Ahhh!!!" We both scream and turn to the two teenage boys in a fit of giggles behind us.
"Like you're the first people in the world to ever think of tipping someone off a couch," Luke says, sarcasm dripping like honey, as he rolls his eyes at them.
"Stop being eggs!" I playfully yell at them, then giving them each a playful tap over the head for good measure.
"Let's go," I say, like I'm in control of the situation, when I reality I just about almost fell flat on my face with a couch on top of me. I begin to walk out the garage door, and give the boys, who are still in a fit of giggles, a stern look before getting out my keys. I got my first car for my birthday, well Luke and I got our first car for our birthday. I pressed the garage door opener key, and wave teasingly to the boys as it shuts. That instantly wipes the siles off ther faces when they realise that they will be locked in soon if they don't rush to get under the door before it shuts. I stare on in laughter as they roll under the door in little huddled balls.
"I'll get you back for that!" Mikey says, as I begin to run away from him before he grabs me. Calum and Michael corner me,I turn from Mikey to Calum looking for an escape . As I have my attention on Calum Mike runs from behind and grabs me throwing me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Fireman Lift!" he screams spinning me around.
"Ahh...excuse me" someone says clearing their throat behind us, " Are any of you Calum Hood?"
