*Two days later*

The boys and I are chilling in Luke's room, Michael has grabbed Luke's acoustic guitar and is quietly humming to whatever song he is creating. While Ashton, Luke, Calum and I are sitting on his bed talking. When Ash (he asked us to call him that) "auditioned" for the band, he was really good. Listening to our sound now with an actual drummer, 3 guitarists and a bassist is another world compared to what we sounded like before (No offence to Mikey's drumming but we all know he's a guitarist at heart). We found out that he goes to the same school as us- Northwest Christian College, and is the same yea as the rest of us.

"How're you liking being apart of the band?" I re-enter the conversation, directing my question at Ash. "It's nice having some friends before I start school again and stuff, you know? But It's also great rocking out again I haven't done that in a while..." he trails off, making me wonder, not for the first time what exactly he went through in Melbourne to warrant moving here. I let it go, "It's cool how the bands gonna be like, together always," I say, thinking about how much fun it is at school when I'm around the boys, even if the only class we have together is lunch.

"Yea, The... wait, what IS the name of the band?", Ash asks. We all stare at each other in realisation, "I guess we don't have a name, when we started it was just more of a hanging-out thing...", Calum begins to explain, trailing off when he begins to contemplate the whole name thing.

"We were more of a garage band," I say, trying to explain why we don't have a name even though there was no legitimate reason, we just kind of...forgot.

Michael looks over at us with a light in his eyes, "We weren't "a garage band", we were "The Garage Band"". His eyes glinting as we ponder what he's just insinuated. I was the first to catch on, "Wait Mikey, are you saying...Do we have a name?!" I jumped up and hopped excitedly over to him, when I reached him I hugged him, by the time we pulled away the boys were over to where we were. We all looked at each other in amazement, and then started jumping up and down and laughing, or giggling in Ashton's case- that sound is freaking adorable. "We just found a name!" I yell, making sure I'm loud enough so all the people who thought we were losers, for banding instead of going to a drunken party, could hear."We're a proper band!" Luke yells along with me. Our chants echoed, for what sounded like forever.

A new bandmate, a new name, and new band-Who knows what we can do.
