Awaking was a beautiful thing, temporarily forgetting all your problems. I was serenity, in it's simplest form. When I awoke, I felt a persons arms containing me within them, our legs intertwined like vines along a fence.

Ash looked so young when he was asleep. Not barely, old enough to be a 17 year old boy. Peaceful, I've heard the term used many times, but if you could encapture the essence of Ashton right now, and capture it for all the world to see, that would be how they would describe it. Peaceful.

But within a few quick seconds, that castle that we had locked ourselves in, and built a wall, to escape the world, came crashing down. My breathing became heavy, as I frantically tried to think. 'Oh damn. Damn...Damn...Damn! Luke, why hadn't I thought of this before. He'd be home by now, what if he'd come to check on me and found us? No...no, he couldn't have found us otherwise we'd awoken to a screaming match...', My subconscious taunted me.

"Morning," Asha greeted me, he sounded adorable. For a split second, when I looked at his pre-coffee smile and heard the somehow cute-groggy voice he'd procured, I forgot everything and began to get lost in the idea of staying here forever with Ash.

After I finished getting swept away by the undercurrent of what I was feeling, I told Asha our little problem. We both admitted to getting lost in time, suspended in the moment. Heck, we'd even forgot dinner, it's not often teenagers do that.

We came up with a plan, I surveyed the perimeter and came back to tell Ash that we were alone. I checked my phone, concerned why none of my family had decided to return to our home. Discovering, a text from my mum telling Luke and I to "stay out of trouble, and not throw any wild parties" while they were staying at a hotel for the night because they had to do overtime at work. I don't really expect them to be back until dinnertime, this was normal. Luke not coming home, on the other hand was not. I found a text from Calum, saying him, Mikey and Luke were having an impromptu "Lad's night". I wondered why they hadn't invited Ash, until he too checked his phone and saw an invitation to come from Mikey.

I text them to come over for some banding time, around 12.00, and began making breakfast for me and Ash. "Uh...Ash why don't you just stay here till 12.00, you've got to come back for banding anyway..." I ask. 'Might as well.' I thought.

"Um..." he queries', sniffing his shirt.

"You can have a shower upstairs, and I'll wash your clothes in the washer-dryer by then time you're out?" I place the option, hoping for some reason he'll say yes. "Save you the drive." I say, pretending to care about his petrol usage, instead of how much I want him here.

"Sounds good." He says smiling at me, looking over his bowl of cereal and toast like a little kid.

"What are you doing?" I laugh as he hovered his spoon over his bowl, left and right, like he was playing the airplane game.

"Oh you saw that?" he says sheepishly, his cheeks turning rose-coloured. I nod, eyeing him, over my laughter. "I was um...deciding whether it was un gentlemanly to stuff my face, in front of my girlfriend." he says, and begins to giggle with me.

When we've gotten control over our laughter again, I say "It's alright, I was about to do the same thing." Before butterfly-kissing his nose. Then we plough into our food, racing to win the war of fastest-eater.

I can sufficiently say this was the best-morning ever.
