Chapter 19
It's 8.30 now and the boys were filtering through the door one by one. Calum came early with his mum. Since she had known us since were babies she wanted too see us together as adults, 'weird, must be a 'mum-thing', some sort of maternal-instict.' I thought, when she and mum clucked around us. They had us stand with Calum in the middle of Luke and I for photos. Cal's mum taking several at a time while our mum hovered behind, saying "ohh.. that one's good send it to me." Releasing us after several minutes of smiling, yes we were happy we were finally going out, but happy enough to stand their with actual smiles on our faces for the longest time.
Before they both headed off to Calum's house where they were having a parents night, because, and I quote, "We deserve a little fun after taking care of you lot for near-abouts 18 years."
Dad had headed over earlier to help Calum's dad set up the barbeque as it was new and yet to be assembled. Before mum left though, she sat me and Luke down, telling us that "we were fine to not come home as it was our birthday, but not to go on any 3 day benders. As their not as fun as they look." To which we both reguarded our mother with a skeptical look, someone had some explaining to do later. Ashton and Michael turned up later with two gifts each and a bottle of vodka (Mikey insists a party isn't the same, unless you do a couple of shots before-hand). After Luke and I had opened our presents we headed out to Mikey's car, slightly buzzed and ready to party.

The boys still would'nt tell me or Luke, where we were going, but I knew exactly where we were when we pulled up. "Twisted", a club Luke, Cal, Mikey and I had tried to get into when we were 16, with our dodgy fake ID's and chubby faces. Luke and I shared a look before we turned to the other boys remembering how we were thrown out after Calum tried to flirt with the bartender, a woman who saw right through him and got security onto us and would have got the police onto us aswell if Luke hadn't stepped in and assured the gouard that we wouldn't come back again unless we were legal.
I looked to Ash who was laughing along with the rest of us, though I had never told him this story, "Cal told me everthing." he answered to my questioning look. Michael suggested we move out of the car beffore the line gets too long, so 5 teenagers move towards the end of the line.
When we got the the bouncer he glared at us, "You lot almost got me sacked, I'll be watching you closely." he took another chance to stare Calum down, "Yes sie, we understand." Ash assured the bouncer-Dave, huffed before stepping aside to let us in.
We moved inside taking it all in before we were far enough in that we were out of Dave's earshot. When we were out of harm's way Mikey turned to Ash and imitates an old man saying "Yes sir." making us all laugh when Ashton turns red and tries to swat him away.
"C'mon," Luke says, moving towards the bar, Calum lags behind trying to see the bartender. Determining it is safe to proceed he follows.
