That night, I stayed in my room. The boys went home in Mikey's car sometime around 9.00PM, but I just stayed in my cave, finishing some English essay that's due next week and while I was in the mood for penning my thoughts, a song or two.
It was 11.45 when I actually went to bed despite being in my room since 7.40.
I awoke from my slumber, by my phone dinging beside my bed-it had just gone 12.20.
I squinted, trying to adjust from the horrible brightness of my screen after the blissful darkness of my eyelids.
I turn the screen setting down and see it was Ashton who woke me up.
Ash:
"Let's go on an adventure!"
"We should go right now."
"I'm coming to pick you up Princess."
And the latest one:
"I'm outside in my mum's car. C'mon Ly, Let's go!"
I text back, a quick:
"5 mins"
And start getting dressed, eager to not pass-up some time with Ashton.
When I get outside, I see Asha sitting in his mum's faded-red car.
"An 'Opel Kadett D'," he told me proudly when they got it. I have no idea what means other than the fact that it is obviously a car, but he seemed stoked, so I went with it.
"Where are we going?" I ask Asha after I do up my seat-belt.
"On an adventure." He replied, "On an adventure to...where?" Ashton looked over to me with his sheepish grin.
"I honestly only thought this far, quite frankly I'm surprised you even came-it's like 12.30" he flashes me another grin and starts the car.
"Oh Ashton." I giggle, shaking my head.
"Hey! I gallantly saved my distressed Damsel from a horrid sleep without me." He laughed with me, his eyes staying on the road as he reached over the console and grabbed my hand.
We pulled up in darkness, even with the headlights on I couldn't see much. Asha turned off the ignition and released my hand to turn on the interior lights, only to grab onto it again when he was done.
"I found this entrance after I left your house the other day." He smiled at me, playing with my fingers. Before lifting them up to lay a butterfly kiss on the tip of each one.
"C'mon," Asha whispered, nodding to the outdoors, before letting go of my hand and climbing out-leaving the lights on. With my only source of heat disappearing into the night, I decided to follow his actions, walking to the hood of his car-seeing Ashton leaning against it.
Spying my arrival, he hopped up on-top of the hood. Ash offered me a hand up-which I took, and we both leaned back-staring at the clear stars. I knew now we were in the field.
"Do you think I could kiss you?" Asha whispered turning his head towards me. "Well I don't know, maybe you should take me out to dinner first?" I smirked, sassing his ridiculously obviously-answered question.
"Hey!" Ashton and I both laughed as he straddled me and began to tickle. Our laughter died-out and Asha slowly leaned down, our mouths' moving together. Heads turning, to deepen our attachment.
Ashton's tongue slipped into my mouth-I returned the favor. Our hands roamed freely, hesitant at first but soon it was natural.
This was different from before-hotter, more powerful.
"Wow." I said, when Ash pulled away-licking his lips and placing his forehead on mine. "Wow indeed." A smirk played on his lips but he kept his eyes closed, savoring it.
"We can't-" I started, but Ash stopped me. "I know, I agree."
That would be a whole new level. I'm not ready for that, not yet. I know I'm going against Luke, but that would be...I just can't do that to him. Ash pecked my forehead and rolled off me.
We sat in silence for a while before Ash said, "I liked our adventure."
I smiled, we were looking at the sky again.
"Me too," I whispered "Me too."
