When night falls shadows come.

It was a dark cold night and you started to regret coming to the woods to camp and get away from the busy home life. You sat by the camp fire wrapped in a blanket trying to keep as warm as possible as you look up at the clear night sky, the full moon illuminating everything around you. You yawn and check your watch to see it is midnight and decide to call it a night. You crawl into your tent and get in your sleeping bag closing your eyes and falling asleep quicker than you expected as the fire burned slowly outside your tent making you feel calm as you enter dreamland.

You wake up with a start unsure why? You turn on your flashlight and look at your watch seeing its just gone 3am, you look up and realise the fire has gone out as the your tent is no longer showing the warm low glow from outside. You sigh and lay down and close your eyes trying to get more sleep but your eyes shoot open when you hear a snap of a stick outside your tent. You stay still, quiet and try to hold your breath to not make a sound hoping the animal or thing doesn't hear you and goes away, you look and see the moonlight hit the side of your tent brightly as a shadow of a tall hatted figure is stood right beside your tent moving slowly towards the entrance then ever so slowly moving the zip to open the way in towards you.
