Chapter 16

"The gamma readings are definitely consistent with Selvig's reports on the Tesseract. But it's gonna take weeks to process." I say

"If we bypass their mainframe and direct a reroute to the Homer cluster, we can clock this around six hundred teraflops." Tony says.

"All I packed was a tooth brush." Says Bruce with a slight smile. Tony smiles.

"You know, you should come by Stark Tower sometime. Top ten floors, all R&D. You'd love it, it's candy land."

"Thanks, but the last time I was in New York I kind of broke...Harlem."Says Bruce sheepishly.

"Oh... it's you." I say

"Yea it's me."

"Jarvis. Give me Reaper's basic information." Says Tony.

suddenly an AI speaks.

"Yes sir, it is on your screen." Suddenly my information are on Tony screen.

"Reaper... Name Lazuli Eternalita. OW It's you!! The girl who won the Noble Peace Award."

"That's me." I say while removing my mask.

"Never thought about that. Nice to meet you Dr.Azul." 

"No need for formalities. Just call me Azul. But I prefer Reaper in SHIELD."

"Sure."

Suddenly my Fury talks in my earpiece.

"Reaper. Go talk to to Loki. He says he want to speaks with you. He doesn't speak to us, we think that you can gather our information."

"fine. Tony, Bruce. Fury sent me to interogate Loki. I guess I can't work with you all. Good luck."

"kay. Good luck to you too."

I walk out from the lab to go to Loki's cell which is my old cell. I arrive in front of the door. I quickly put my mask on. This is going to be complicated.

I open the door to find Loki standing by his back on me.

"Why can't I sense you, Mortal."Says Loki.

"I am no ordinary mortal."

"Then what are you?"

"Nothing. Than a special human."

"Oh really Azul?" He says my name while turning to me and walk towards me."

"I don't know who you talking about."

"Don't lie to me. Why are you leaving me with Sigyn and alone by myself?!" He says with a sad face.

"I don't have any choice." I say with a small voice.

"You have many choice! We can run and be together! But you choose to left me! You say you loved me! But your words are no more than lies! I've search for you for years, and I found you here in midgard, with these pathetic mortals! You Loved me? You know what?! I don't love you back!"

3rd person P.O.V

" I don't love you back!" says Loki. He says that he doesn't love her but deep inside his pained heart. He will always love Azul more than anything.

"I don't have any choice Loki!  I try to go back. But I can't. I wait years here, waiting for a sign! If you don't believe, go ahead and read my mind! My mind is an open door!" Azul shouts.

Loki tries to read her mind. Images flashes through his mind. The day Azul is cursed, the day she fall, the day she can't fly anymore and her power became uncontrollable, the day her eyes became red,the day she suffer in red room, the day she draw loki, the day she always cries her self to sleep, the day she is kept in the same cell as Loki, A flash images of Azul's scars on her back, especially her wing marks.Loki face Softened.

Azul start to take off her mask and her contacts. She throws them all to the floor. She doesn't care about her appearence anymore. She is tired of hiding true self. Loki stare her with wide eyes.

"I always remember you and love you after all of this years. I live with a hope and that is to be with you, that is my way of surviving all of these pains..... I still Love you." her voice start to softened in the end. She shows her scars at Loki. She quickly zip her suit again.

"See these pains? they are fine. Because I hope that one day. These pain will be worth it in the end."

 She starts to run away from Loki's cell toward her room. She cries her heart out. 

 Many reasons why she cries. The fact that her curse can't be broken, the fact that her one and only hope crumble within a day, the fact that her whole world Loki,hates her.

"Azul." Nat says in front of her door. No reply but sobbing.

"Azul! What happened to you?"

" Y-you already k-know Nat, from the video."

"Shhh it's okay Azul."

"I don't know what to do. I am lost, I lost my one and only hope to live. I don't want to live anymore."

"Azul! don't talk all those bullshits to me! You deserve to live! Your life worth more than many other people does. Now calm down."

Azul nods, and starts to calm down.

"Now will you excuse me, I am going to kick Loki's ass!" Nat says while standing up and goes out from Azul's room. She literally going to give her a piece of her mind.

Azul start to stare blankly at the ceiling while shedding silent tears. She starts to sing.

Turn down the lights, turn down the bed

Turn down these voices, inside my head.

Lay down with me, tell me no lies.
