I woke up and saw that I was in a bed. My alarm then went off. I groaned, getting up. I walk into my bathroom, getting undressed and hopped in the shower. I quickly clean myself and then got out. I dried myself and put on my underwear and bra. I went over to lock my door. I quickly slipped on a hoodie and some sweatpants. I then put on my shoes and went downstairs. I saw my mom and Noah finishing up breakfast, "just in time. I was getting worried that I was going to be right about leaving you here."

I glare at Noah, "fight me."

He chuckles, "eat up."

He hands me a plate of pancakes and bacon. I thank him and start to eat. "Are we passing by Jake's?" Noah asked.

"Yes, if you finish you breakfast quickly. It's a six hour drive!"

I look at the time. Six thirty-eight.

I finish my breakfast and wash the plate. I then put it in the box where the plates where. "Alright make sure y'all don't leave anything!"

I jog up to my room and double-check. I had everything so I make my way downstairs. I help my mom with the plates and got settled. "Alright here's some pillows and blankets."

I grabbed them, putting them in the back seat. Noah gets in and we start to head to Jake's. I start to feel nervous. I mean, he was going to be away, not only will I not see him every day, I will lose another great friend.

We shortly arrived at his house, getting out the car. We knock on the door and Noah opens the door. I mean they're basically like siblings! Jake greets my mom, Noah, and then me. I hug him tight, taking in his scent. I'm sure going to miss his scent, too. My mom and Jake's mom have a quick conversation before we leave. We say our goodbyes and get into the car.

This is going to be like a new start! Hopefully a good one, too!
