Chapter 7
Listen to Never Be Alone by Shawn Mendes[Shawn]
I got in the car driving to the place I was taking Bella. I'm planning to take her to the beach and after, I'll take her to Starbucks because she never tried it.
I was driving when Bella turned on the radio. She started singing quietly to the song that was playing. She sounds like an angel. I smile to myself and keep driving. I see from the corner of my eye that she is starring out the widow.
She has her one of her hands resting on her thigh while the other is underneath her elbow. I reach and lace our fingers gently. I see her turn her head and stare at our hands, smiling.
She squeezes my hand gently. I smile, getting our hands and kiss her hand gently. I kept my eyes on the road and saw that we were at the beach. I parked by the side and turned off the engine, "Alright we're here! Now I want to put a blindfold on," I said as I reach for the blindfold in the back.
I saw Bella looked nervous, "Everything's okay," I said and saw her relax. I wrap the cloth around her head and made a knot at the back. I got out the car and went over to Bella's side and helped her out. I got a hold of her hand and then opened the back door. I got out the basket full of food.
I walked her over to where you could see the sun shining. I sat her down and then put the stuff down. I got out a blanket and laid it down, "Alright, ready to see," I asked.
"Yes," she said excitedly, making me chuckle. I undid the knot and took off the cloth. She rubbed her eyes to see and her eyes went wide. She covered her mouth with her hand, "Do you like it," I asked as I stared at the sun. "I love it! Thank you!" She said hugging me. I couldn't keep my balance since I was squatting. I fell on back, with Bella following.
"Sorry," she said as she sat up. "It's all good, now...ready for the food?" She nods, and I get basket and take out what's inside. I put out some sandwiches, cookies, and muffins. "I know this is not fancy but-," I got cut off, "It's okay. I love all of this," she said.
I blushed, "Well let's eat," I said rubbing my hands together.
"But I still have to do one more thing," I said. "Really?" I nod.
"C'mon I'll show you," I said. I helped her up and got our stuff and walked us to the car. I put the stuff in the back and started driving to Starbucks.
When we got there Bella looked confused. Smiling, "Coffee," I said excitedly, making Bella chuckle. "C'mon," I said as I opened the door and ran out, with her following. I laughed because she walked instead of running.
I walked over to the cashier and waited for Bella. "How may I help you today," the guy asked. "Hi, can I get two Lattes please," I said, wrapping an arm around Bella's waist.
"Will that be all," he asked. I nodded. "I really like your hair," the man said as I gave him the cash. "Awe thank you! I like your make-up," Bella said as the man gave me the change.
Bella watched as they made the latte. I heard my phone ring,
"Hello?"
"Shawn it's Noah, where are you and Bella?"
"Uh I- we're at Starbucks.. Why?"
"Because I told Bella to cover up for me," he said in a duh voice.
"Well just tell your mom your going out with your girlfriend?..."
"Yeah okay, bye," he said before I could reply.
"Alright here is your two Lattes! Enjoy," the man said.
"Have a nice day!" We said as we walked out.
