Wow, the day had gone by slowly. It was already time for seventh period. Lunch had been brutal. I had forgot money, and I wasn't the kind to bring something from home. I had sat with Natasha, a friend I had always had. She didn't talk too much to me, more to everyone that was listening. She was pretty cute, I guess. Her hair was black like Miranda's, but Natasha's was straight, not curly. Natasha always wore her hair up or pinned back. She was okay. She would do for now. I just needed somebody, anybody. I was starting to think my life was pretty pathetic!
Thank God it was time for seventh period though. At least I knew I would have someone to talk to. F.D. wasn't the greatest guy in the world, and I didn't really think I was attracted to him. I didn't know what it was that was a turn-off. Maybe it was just that there was no turn-on! I guess I would just see if anything had changed by seventh period.
When I got to my classroom, I took a seat in the middle of the class. Why not! Anyway, I looked for F.D., but I didn't see him any where. I waited until the bell rang and the teacher shut the door. He wasn't there. Hmmm... That was weird. Maybe he had got checked out or something! On the first day of school though? That was strange. Ms. Burns introduced herself. She seemed nice but not too nice. She was still a teacher!
We did some worksheet that took up all of five minutes to do. Others took a while and seemed to struggle. It was English though. I was okay at the subject. Finally, the class ended, and everyone was excited to get out!
The final bell of the day rang, and I was relieved! I got my stuff and headed for the bus. I was the last one out of the classroom. To my surprise, I walked out to see F.D. standing to the side of the door.
"Hey." he said casuallly.
"Hey! What are you doing? You werent' in class?!" I said shocked to see him.
"I realize. Thank you very much. Come on." he ended the quick conversation with mystery as he turned and walked away.
"But... Where?" I sighed and reluctantly followed this guy. He had some guts that's for sure.
"Hey! Where exactly are you going?" I shouted, trying to catch up.
"By you I assume you mean we. We are going to my house. School's over ya know?"
"We? Speak for yourself. Yeah, I know school's over, and I know that I can't just go over to some random guy's house."
"Well, lucky for you I'm not random." he said, turning back to face me with a smerk on his face. He continued walking though.
"You know what I mean, F.D.! My mother would kill me!" I began thinking to myself that my mother wouldn't ever do that because then she would have get dirty. She was a very clean lady! A neat-freak you could say. F.D. didn't reply.
"Bye!" I shouted and waved as I turned and walked in the opposite direction.
