Chapter 1:
"Storm Callaway?" The supply teacher called. I rolled my eyes and raised my hand and plastered a smile on my face.
"Jennifer, please." I asked nicely and he responded with a smile. I sat in the back with some of the other kids; they slouched in their chairs or made out with one another where as I had my books all out, my agenda checked and my utensils in order.
"Jenny, we have a supply teacher." My friend Miranda teased. She was practically sitting on Jayson's lap as she spoke to me.
"He is giving out work and I want to finish it." I said not meeting her eyes. I turned back to the front as people snickered behind me. My father was The Mark Callaway he invented a whitening toothpaste and since then his company has made many other successful hygiene products. My mother divorced him two years ago because she said he was too infatuated with his work. I never really noticed it because I was always studying but she did. So, instead she moved back to Canada where we are originally from. That's right, I was born in the beautiful city of Toronto and lived there until I was six. That's when my father began his company and we moved to this small town in America. It was a population of like three hundred here and my dad worked in the city. It was always sunny and hardly any snow- I hated it.
Anyways, you may have heard the supply teacher call me Storm Callaway. It was true. My mother is indigenous. She believed in spirituality and the night I was born, a severe thunderstorm had hit Toronto and the umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck. Doctors thought I wasn't going to make it but I pulled through. My mother said it was the sky Gods giving me their strength through the most powerful thunder storm. So instead of naming me Thunder - thank God; she named me Storm and my middle name is Jennifer. However, I go by Jennifer.
I received my worksheet and began working quietly when I was tapped on the back of the head. I turned slightly to a grinning Miranda.
"Jay is having a party tonight. Are you coming?" She asked.
"I don't know, Miranda. I have a calculus test on Monday." I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Jenny it's Friday; get out and do something fun! Cameron will be there." She winked. Ah, Cameron Newman. All star hockey player; he was older and he was a player. I mean, we're talking about a hockey player here, but I have been in love with him since I was in grade nine and he was in grade eleven.
I couldn't help but smile.
"Okay, fine." I said and she clapped happily.
"No sweater vests though!" She said and I frowned. My usual attire was a white dress shirt with a cute sweater vest on top and a black skirt. Sometimes I wore heels and other times I wore flats. I was a prim and proper girl but that is just how I was raised.

I looked through my closet and sighed heavily grabbing a pair of dark jeans and a form fitting, white long sleeve shirt. I paired it with a pair of boots and a jacket over top. It was a leather jacket my mother used to wear and she left it, I kind of had it in the back of my closet and I figured this would be the time to wear it.
"Nice. You look hot." Miranda commented as I got in. I smiled buckling in as we rode to her boyfriends house. Once we got there she was already off with Jayson so I went to the kitchen and grabbed a soda from the fridge. I went outside because it was a nice night out. I stared into the sky when voices erupted my thoughts.
"There she is; Jenny, you remember Cameron Newman, right?" Miranda asked I turned to face blond hair, blue eyed, Cameron. He smirked at me and took a drink as I stood stunned.
"Uh...yea...hi." I said stuttering. Miranda smirked and turned away leaving us alone. Cameron stood next to me and I blushed at how close we were.
"You look really good, Jen." He said and I blushed even harder.
"Are you kidding? You look amazing! How is hockey?" I asked.
"It's alright. It is good to have a night out." He shrugged.
"It's always good to take a break." I said taking a drink.
"Are you drinking soda?" He chuckled.
"I am, why?" I asked.
"It's a party have a shot or two." He teased and I smiled.
"I'm serious Jen you look really good." He said glancing down my body. I blushed and tried to cover myself up and he moved my hand away and ran his hand along the curve of my waist.
"Curves in all the right places. Perfection." I felt uncomfortable with him touching me but it was Cameron Newman. He leaned in and his alcohol breath was inches from my face. I felt my breathing hitch as he pressed his lips against mine. The kiss was sloppy or maybe that is how kisses were meant to be; I never kissed anyone before so I didn't really know what to expect.
I felt his hand on the waist band of my jeans and soon I felt the button get undone and the zipper was pushed down. I immediately jolted away dropping my drink and frowning. I did up my pants and wiped my mouth.
"You sick asshole." I said stomping inside. I went to Miranda who stared at me in surprise.
"What happened?" She asked and I shook my head.
"I am going home." I said and she stood up.
"Let me drive you back." She offered and I shook my head.
"You already had a few drinks. I can walk." I assured. I didn't allow her to respond as I was already out the door. I took off my jacket and kicked the ground as I walked.
"Boys are so stupid. All they are interested in is sex. Never anything serious just straight immaturity." I growled as I walked.
I heard a car driving down the road and I turned to glance at the headlights but kept walking forward.
The tires screeched and the car halted to a stop in front of me. Assuming it was Cameron I rolled my eyes. The vehicle was really nice and since Cameron was pro I figured he would have a nice car. I turned and a man in an all black suit and a mask jumped out placing a white cloth over my mouth. I screamed kicking my legs but soon felt a wave of dizziness wash over me and I fell unconscious.
