Storm's POV:

I waited for Ace to say it back as he stared at me. My heart slowly began to crumble. Oh God, he was totally just using me. I was his arm candy that's it.

I felt tears began to well up when he posed a question.

"Why?" He asked sincerely. I wiped under my eye and he caught a tear that escaped.

"What?" I asked.

"Why do you love me?" He asked earnestly.

"Why wouldn't I? You are sweet and caring and you make me laugh and you make me look at other things in life other than school and I love that. You make me really happy and I care for you a great deal." I admitted. He stared at me in wonder.

"But you don't believe in love right?" I asked. And he looked shocked. He looked away briefly and then met my eyes again and he started laughing.

"Why are you laughing at me?" I whined but he just kept laughing.

"You're insane you know that?" He asked.

"Why?"

"The only person who has told me they loved me was my mother and Angelica when I got her One Direction tickets..." He trailed off and I smiled as he looked back at me.

"I really, really, really do love you. A lot. More than I should." He teased and I couldn't help but smile.

"Really?" I squeaked and he nodded.

"You are the most beautiful woman I have ever met. You are so smart and intelligent and you are the most loving person I have ever met. You honestly scare me." He said and I frowned at his words.

"Why do I scare you?" I asked.

"You scare me because I'm only twenty-four years old and I can't picture spending the rest of my life without you. I'm scared that one day a successful CEO is going to come and sweep you off your feet." He said honestly and I smiled at him and touched the light stubble on his face.

"I would never leave you." I assured.

"Good because I would cry and I don't think you want to see me cry." He laughed and I giggled softly. I snuggled into his chest and he kissed my head softly.

"Since when did Sylvia have a thing for Blake?" I asked.

"She always had a crush on him. She said that he was the man she would marry when she was thirteen and Blake was having sex with girls. She was so determined."

"But why did she tell me she was still seeing Toby?" I asked referring to our conversation at prom.

"She wanted to keep it on the down low. Brandon didn't know and she didn't know how to tell him. She didn't want him to be upset."

"So Blake is stepping down because...?"

"He is twenty-seven and he wants to focus on getting to know Sylvia more- although I am pretty sure he knows everything about her..." He scoffed laughing.

"I think it is cute."

"It's weird I never thought I'd see Blake in love."

"Really? No offence I always thought you would never like me. I thought Brandon would be the one to step up to the plate." He made a sarcastic laugh and I grinned

"And allow Brandon to take you away from me? Yea right, you were mine since the first day I laid eyes on you." He said cockily.

"Mhmm that's why you were such an asshole."

"I was not."

"Yea you used to like yell at me and tell me to give my attitude a check."

"Yea because you have to respect your daddy." He grinned.

"Ace it is only three o'clock." I said glancing at the clock.

"And? Do you have somewhere to go?"

"No."

"Do you have homework?" He asked teasingly.

"No dad, I'm good." I teased back and he narrowed his eyes at me.

"It is not 'dad' young lady, it is 'daddy'." He warned.

"Sorry, daddy." I said rolling my eyes and he kissed my head approvingly.

"Good girl, now let me sleep." He said rolling over on top of me.

"Ace!" I laughed as he snuggled into my neck.
