Chapter 46
Storm's POV:
Ace could not pick me up because he was busy with the whole Sylvia thing, so I took the public transit. I plugged in my ear buds and I cranked up the volume on my phone and stared out the window. It was getting colder, snow should be falling soon. The leaves were stuck to the ground because of the rain and the bus was quiet with only a few people on it.
I got off the stop at Rhonda's diner and decided to go in.
"Storm, how are you?" She asked. I smiled and pulled out my wallet.
"Hi Rhonda, it's nice to see you again; I'm alright." I shrugged as she pulled out a travel cup for me.
"I thought that boy was picking you up from school?" She asked.
"He's busy today so I took the transit, but I figured I'd stop in and get some coffee."
"He comes in here every morning after he drops you off. Did he give you the necklace?" She asked. I touched the small heart and nodded.
"He did its gorgeous." I smiled.
"He talks about you all the time Storm, he talks about your schooling, about how you are so strong...He is like a lost puppy dog without you." She laughed setting down the two travel cups. I laughed blushing slightly and she smiled.
"These are on the house, sweetheart. Have a good day." She smiled.
"Thanks Rhonda." I said happily. I waved goodbye and walked down the street rounding the tiny corner and heading to the small dark building. I walked to the back and fumbled in my bag for the key Ace had given me. I unlocked the door and slid inside closing it shut behind me. I walked to Blake's office and they obviously weren't there so I sat down and pulled out my text books.
I was working on a story for writers craft. Kind of like an autobiography; the cute and innocent girl gets kidnapped by a Mafia and she falls in love with the totally hot and sexy Mafia boss.
I of course changed around the names obviously but other than that some of the characters resembled some real people in my life... *wink* *wink*
My stomach began to growl and I looked at the time noticing it was close to seven.
This place is going to open up soon, isn't it?
I walked to the bar when Davey and Georgina ran up to me.
"Storm we got a problem!" Davey shrieked.
"What!? What!?" I asked shrieking back.
"Blake, Ace and Brandon and some of the other guys are not back yet. No one is here to run the club!" He said. I looked at the main stage with the pole and the other chairs that were empty.
"So what do we do?" I asked.
"You have to do it!" Georgina insisted. My eyes bulged out of my head and I laughed.
"Haha you're funny. I don't know how to run a Mafia club."
"Spice it up, Storm! Show the boys you can do this stuff!" Davey encouraged. I looked back at the stage and frowned.
"Who is the MC?" I asked.
"MC? We don't have one." Georgina said.
"Haven't you guys seen Magic Mike!? MC's are what gets the crowd going, you have to have MC's to introduce acts." I said.
"Acts?" The both said.
"Yes, dance routines! We are going to turn this club from the boring little shack to the best Mafia club ever." I grinned. They both nodded in amusement as we proceeded backstage to work out some plans.
