Chapter 10
Storm's POV:
After our heated argument, Ace and I have not spoke once today. I stood in the dressing room with the other girls and I was given white lingerie this time. I was given a short skin tight black dress and I placed it on before walking out.
"Why the long face, sexy?" Brandon asked placing his arm around my shoulders. He walked me to the main part of the club.
"Nothing." I said forcing a smile. We entered in and he kissed my cheek sweetly.
"Don't worry about Steele. You look absolutely stunning." He said and I blushed.
"Thanks Brandon."
"No problem, sexy. Now go make some money." He said and I couldn't help but smile. I glanced around the room and saw Matthew again. He motioned me over and I sat down.
"So that extra money was worth nothing?" He asked and I shrugged.
"Listen, darling. I'm not one of these workers here. I don't give blow jobs or hand jobs."
"How much extra do I have to pay then?" He asked placing a hand on my bare thigh. I hesitated but regained my composure.
"Listen, kid. You're cute and all but I don't think you know what you are getting into." I said removing his hand. I stood up and felt a firm smack on my behind. I laughed sarcastically and grabbed the collar or his shirt.
"Touch me again asshole and I will have you removed. Permanently." I threatened. He gulped and nodded.
"Okay, okay." He said quickly. He slapped a wad of cash on the table and apologized.
"Good boy." I smiled. I walked to the bar where Ace sat smirking with one of the dancers. Their lips constantly met and I pushed myself to them. I slapped the money into his chest and turned to the guy next to me who had called me.
"What's your name beautiful?" He asked. He had a cigarette in his mouth and he was a bit older.
"Storm." I said and he looked me up and down and turned to me.
"You look a little young. How much is Blake paying you?" He asked and I froze.
"Uh...he is not paying me." I said and he chuckled.
"I watched you work last night and I saw you shake down Matthew over there. You are a natural. None of these girls have the guts to do that." He said.
"Oh, thank you..." I said.
"My name is Andrew." He said quietly and I blinked.
"Andrew..." I said.
"Rivers." He said quietly again. He looked around to make sure no one heard and I stood stunned.
"Y-your Ace's dad..." I whispered and he nodded.
"Wow he told you? Anyways yea I am. It's nice to meet you Callaway." He said and I smiled.
"I come here to check on this one here." He said gesturing to Ace who was continuing to flirt with the dancer.
"Does he know you are here?" I asked.
"He doesn't have a clue. I change my appearance all the time." He said.
"He really misses you I think." I said and he sighed.
"I know...I just want to make sure he is safe." He said.
"He is in the mafia you know?" And he let out a laugh.
"Ironic, right?" He laughed and I smiled at how nice he was to talk too. After a while Ace stood up and tapped my shoulders with his arms folded.
"Shouldn't you be working?" He asked impatiently and I sighed.
"She's with me, son." His dad said and he shook his head.
"I hope Blake knows." He said.
"He is fine with it, let the poor girl be." His dad snapped. Ace stared at him hard.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"Steve." His dad answered. Ace rolled his eyes and walked away.
"That boy has always had a temper." He sighed shaking his head. I nodded and continued to speak with him for the rest of the night.
"Here so Blake doesn't get mad at you." He said handing me a bundle of cash. I had to hold it with two hands.
"It was nice to meet you Storm. Maybe we will see each other soon." He said shaking my hand. I said goodbye and walked to Brandon's office and handed him the money.
"Where did you get this from? Steele said you were talking for the whole night?" Blake asked.
"Yea the nice man I was talking to gave it to me. He said thanks for keeping him company." I said.
"Good work, Storm." He smiled. I turned out of his office and went to the dressing room. I changed back into the leggings and white long sleeve and I grabbed a coat from the closet. I went to the lounge which just consisted of Brandon and Steele with three girls. I went to the far corner of the room and laid on the couch putting the jacket around my body.
"I hear the alley has more space." One girl snickered. I pretended like I couldn't hear and pulled the coat tighter.
"Leave her alone." A familiar voice spoke. I looked back and briefly met eyes with Ace who had spoke. I rolled my eyes and turned back to the corner and drifted off to sleep.
