----JJ P.O.V----

The two kids came into my house and I still don't know what to expect. Jade's got puffy eyes and a red nose like she's been crying. Landon's face is red and his fists are clenched in his lap.

"What's going on?" I ask them.

Landon sits up and looks at Jade.

"Would you care to tell me why Jade's ex-boyfriend is currently going to our school?" Landon says with a pissy tone.

Oh shit. The hell?

"Um.. Last I heard he was still in prison.." I tell him.

"Yeah, well he's not. He scared the living shit out of Jade this morning and Jade might get expelled." Landon replies.

"Jade? What did you do?" I ask her.

"Um.. Well I.." She trails off.

"She beat the shit out of the principals daughter, even though she completely deserved it." Landon says clenching his fists tighter.

"Jesus Christ Jade. I thought I told you to control your anger." I say rubbing my temples.

"It's not her fault." Landon says. "Now tell us how it's possible for this douchedick to be at our school."

"Let me call our lawyer and see what they have to say." I say pulling out my phone and dialling our lawyer, Mr. Trent.

The phone rings twice and he finally picks up.

"Hello?" He says.

"Hey, I have a question for you. How exactly is it possible for Axel to be going to Jade's highschool? He had a sentence of 3 years." I say in a bitter tone.

"Oh.. I forgot to tell you.. He got out on good behavior." Trent replies.

"Good behavior my ass! The dude practically almost killed her!" I shout into the phone.

"Listen I know it's wrong but his parents paid off the judge man, there's nothing I can do." Trent sighs.

I hang up the phone and turn around to face the two kids. Jade's crying while Landon holds her against his chest. A troubled boy for a troubled girl.

"What did he say, JJ." Landon says coldly.

"He got off on good behavior because his parents paid off the judge." I sigh.

Jade has her face buried in Landon's chest as she cries harder.

"Jade.. It's going to be okay.. I won't let him touch you." Landon says while stroking the back of her head.

"I'll be back Landon. Take her to your place tonight. I don't want her sleeping at that gym." I tell him.

Landon just nods his head as I turn around, grab my car keys and head out the door.
