I saw camz in the living room, nakatulala.

parang lumilipad ang utak nya sa kawalan

'camz'' i said as i shook her

'anak ng tipaklong!' she said. funny how a graceful person, acts this way when startled.

'i believe na kas gwapo naman ako at malay ang itsura ko sa tipaklong.' i said

'ikaw nanaman? hoy tree man, lubayan mo muna ako no! i dont want to be rude but you do look worse than a grasshopper.' wow british accent.

'oh really?' i came closer, our face almost an inch apart

'really...' she looked stunned. laging ganyan ang effect ko sa girls.

'lumayo ka nga, nakakairita ka talaga!' she said. as she snapped back to her old self

'ano ba problema mo? ilang beses na kita niyaya na makipag usap pero ilang beses mo na rin ako nirereject. my feelings are hurt.'

'magtigil ka karev at kukurutin na kita! jan ka na nga!' she said as she storms off. she looks good when angry.

note to self: galitin si camz everyday.

'good news, the president is not a suspect to holly's death anymore. There are no finger prints in the poison bottlen from the president and the president was only seen with her for a very short while. a new witness has emerged and saw her talking to a lady wearning shades. shouted at her about stealing her husband. that's all we know so far." sabi ni Detective Inspector Santiago kay Darren.

'what a relief. i was hoping to make some action inside the court but looks like there's no need to. we already won.' darren said

'salamat naman at natapos na. pero sino kaya talaga ung pumatay kay holly?' bestfriend ko si holly and i want to give justice to her death.' i said with utmost sincerity.

'we'll help whichever way we can.' my dad said.

'but you never told me why you talked to her that day.'

'she said she knew where you are, and i said i'd set an appointment that day since i have business to attend to. after i left, i cant stop thinking where you might be, only to find out that she died that they. goodness. that cafe is deserted and no one's there, at ako lang ang nakitang kasama nya. buti nalang nagbago ang takbo ng kaso.' he said.

'holly always knew where i was, and i asked her to keep it to herself.' i said.

bumalik kna kami sa bahay at nadatnan namin si Camz na nakatulala.

i didn't bother to ask what happened but she looks bummed.

Pumunta si Darren sa study room ni daddy , i waited for him outside,

nakasandal ako sa pader ng bumukas ang pinto.

his face not giving anything away.

'Anong nangyari sayo?' sabiko habang hinaplos ko ang mukha nya.

tumingin sya sakin, his eyes full of intensity.

he pulled my face closer to his and our lips met.

unexpected kisses. i love it. i love him.

jolts of electricity ticked my spine and i am out of breath.

hinila ko pa sya palapit sakin then he released me.

'kahit anong mangyari, ipaglalaban kita. hindi kitabasta basta isusuko. lagi mong tatandaan na you always have a holdnin my heart, and what ever happens, we'll survive. walang iwanan. you have to promise me.' he said.

my heart beats faster than i could count.

i held his face in my hands, looked him in the eyes and said..

'sino nagsabing papakawalan kita? mahal kita. paniwalaan mo bawat letra ng 'mahal kita' kasi mahal kita. uulitin ko, mahal kita. at kahit kailan, hindi sasagi sa isip ko na iwan ka.' his eyes softend.

he kissed me again, now so soft i feel like i'm floating

'i have to go. i'll call you when i'm there.' he said and he left

pumasok ako sa study at hinarap si daddy.

'dad what did you-" he cut me off

'iwant you to stop seeing Darren. tapos na ang kaso laban sakin at taposna rin ang ugnayan mo sa kanya.'

'sino ka paramagdesisyon para sakin?!'

'iam your father, and i will do my best to protect you. alam moba kung gano karaming death threats angnatatanggap ng mga Espinosa? they're lawyers who put criminals to jails, criminals who have connections, criminals who want them dead. and you, the daughter of the president, the girlfriend of ne of them could be a hot shot target!' he screamed at me.

my dad never screams at me.

'you want a relationship, i'll give you a permanent one. i want you to marry Xavier Karev.'

'Marry WHO?! i have just met him! ni hindi ko nga sya kilala!'

'but iknow him very well.' he said.

'e di ikaw magpakasal sa kanya!'

slap. my face stings.

'i'm laying this down, you have no choice. you will marry him and that's final. itatakwil kita habang buhay. sundin mo nalang ako. you'll thank me in the long run.'

'handa akong igive up lahat para sa kanya.matagal nyo na akong itinakwil, kaya kaya ko. i can manage.' i have to go. i got to get away. the sight of my dad enrages me.

i ran palabas ng study at nabangga ko si Xavier.

'get away from me. you planned this all along' i said.

'anong plano!?' he asked

'i will never marry you!' i shouted at him.

'so alam mo na pala' he said

sinampal ko sya. so hard that my hand hurts

'alam mo din? and you did not bother to tell me!? Sige kayo magpakasal na tatay ko! i'm on my way!'

i went out for coffee, to calm my nerves.

so much is happening my head is spinning, parang may vortex sa loob ko.

"where are you?" i texted Darren

pagdating ko sa coffeebox, i saw darren, all alone.

nakatagilid sya at nakatingin sa kabilang dako kaya hindi nya ako nakita.

papalapit na ako sa kanya para supresahin sya ng may babaeng umupo sa tabi nya.

naninig ako sa narinig ko.

"Darren, I'm pregnant"

i dropped my bag and tears rolled down my cheek.

What will i do? should i run? should i hide? should i shout at him?

"miss, okay ka lang?" sabi sakin nung babae.
