Some things, are just not meant to be. I see that now; but some things remain so unclear that it kept me thinking: Ano ba talaga ang nangyari?

I drove home with that question in my head.

I opened the door nobody's in the living room.

where's everybody? 

*sigh*

I went to the dining room only to find the Centenos (business partners of ours), their whole family.. with the girl i met awhile go.

what's her name? Lores.

I waved at her and smiled. but why are they here?

"Oh jaden, join us for dinner." My mom said

Umupo ako next to my mom and asked her 

"Anong nangyayari?"

"Carina's Pregnant." She said

"Not mine!" i said

"Yep. definitely not yours. It's your brother's."

F*CK. SO THIS IS THE REASON WHY.

"Yes, and we're here to set things right. No part of our family shall be a bastard." Mr. Henry Centeno said. His Jaw thight, looking at Darren with mad eyes. Darren sat there without the slightest care. 

He stood up and said

"I'm not even sure if the child is mine." He said and walked away

"are you calling me a liar!? We tested it already!" Carina shouted

"My brother's right. Hindi naman natin sigurado na kanya yan." I said

"I'm sure of it." She said

"I've undergone DNA examination, via amniocentesis. Akala ko nga di pa pwede eh, per pwede na pala yung five months na baby." She continued

"Mom, we can't just believe her." I said

"Here's the result." She handed me a short manila envelop I scanned the pagged and it is sure a legal document

"The behavior of your sons are inexcusable!" Mrs. Danna Centeno said

"If there's no wedding, I will cut all partnerships in all your business ventures and I assure the fall of your clan! Let's go Danna. Lores Ija, we have to go." they stood up and left.

I left and went to darrens room

"Bakit hindi mo sinabi sakin?! I coul've helped you!" i said

"Para ano? Para ipamukha mo sakin na nagkamali nanaman ako like you always do? being the all perfect son?!" He said

"This isn't about ME. It's about how you gave up on kyle. It's about how i gave up on her for you! and how you wasted all effrots i've done!"

"No! she gave up on me!!!" He yelled

"She left because of what? Iniwan ka nya dahil sa kapabayaan mo. you got someone pregnant! do you expect na itotolerate ka nya? of course not! She will sacrifice you for the sake of others! That's who she is. That's because she knows how to be left by her OWN family. Think Darren. Use your head for once!" I shouted back

"GO." He pointed at the door

"Listen-"

"NO. We're done talking. GO. AWAY. NOW."
