May's POV

"Happy fifth anniversary babe!", Tyler shouts in my ear.
"Tyler...its", I am looking on my phone, "It's 6 am!! God I could sleep like two more hours till work!"
"I know babe, but not today!"
"What the fuck are you talking about?"

Tyler is just giggling and I am completely surprised.
He hasn't giggled like that for ages. Since he always got drunk and aggressive.
"I called Alice and she told David. We will go out today!"
I sigh. I hate going out with Tyler. When we enter a club, all girls are screaming for him and he literally forgets me.
"Tyler, you know-"
"Nooo! Not today May, please! I will pick you up at 11 am okay? We will take lunch and then I have a surprise for you!"
"Ty-"
"No I won't accept a "No" today! See you later babe!", and he hungs up.

At 10 am I'm awake again. "Shit!"
I jump out bed, rush in the bathroom and take a shower.

Infront of my closet, I hesitate.
Great Tyler! I have no idea what I should wear now for your surprise...

I decide for a block cropped top and black ripped jeans.
Haha Matty's style!

While I am putting makeup on, it's knocking on my door.

"Ready babe?", Tyler grins, after I opened.
"Yeah", I answer and grab a white fuzzy coat and black heels.

"So where are we going?", I ask him, when Tyler is starting his car.
"First of all to your fav restaurant."
He seems really relaxed and happy.
"Tyler?"
"Hmm?"
"You look...good! Not only good, but great!"
He laughs.
"Thanks May! I even feel great. This therapy is really helping. I regret so many things and I want to become better now. Your love made it clear. I was always there for you, but when I "got" you, I treated you like shit. I am so sorry May!"
I blink the tears away. The old Tyler is back. That one I fell in love with. But now my heart has moved on and his seems to still be here.
"It's okay....", I breathe.

I won't hurt you Tyler. Never!

Lunch is pretty cool. We are in an italian restaurant, because I love italian food.
Tyler orders the best wine and we laugh really much.

Later we are driving through the town.
"I know you love art, May.", Tyler breaks the silence.
"So I thought we could visit a vernissage."
"Really?", I beam.
"Yep!"
"Ahh thank you Tyler!!"

I lean to the driver side and place a kiss on his cheek.
"I nearly forgot you love these little things."
"What?"
"You never ask for anything, May. You would even be the happiest person in the world if we would go to the cinema. That's what made me fall in love with you."
Oh my god!

"Thank you Tyler!"
I smile at him and look out of the window for the rest of the drive.

When we arrive the gallery of art, there a many people rushing inside.
Thankful for my fuzzy coat I get out of the car. The air got really cold, and it's only 7 am.
Tyler takes my hand and we start walking the stairs.
"Your tickets?", a bored brunette woman, dressed in a white baby doll dress asks.
Tyler shows her, and pulls me inside.

"Do you want to take off your coat?"
I shake my head.
We enter the big hall.
There are many people, watching several pictures, sculptures and stuff.
A waiter is coming over.
"Good evening, Sir, Miss...Can I offer you a glass of champagne?"
When I take a glass, he is winking at me and turns to another couple who has just entered the hall.

"Where do you want to start?", Tyler asks.
I shrug.
"I dunno...just over there." I point at a pic of a blonde woman.
When I get closer, I am amazed.
She looks beautiful. Her blonde hair is curly and her blue eyes are showing that she seems to have just cried.
She seems to wear nothing but a red coat.
The artist must have been in love with her, because he used very warmth bright colours.
The picture is called "Breaking heart".

Soon enough, I'm absolutely delighted with every picture.

"Babe, I need to smoke a cig.",Tyler mumbles and kisses my head before he leaves.

I mosey on over to the next picture.

There are two persons drawn, a man and a woman.
The man is dressed in black. He is holding the woman, who's dressed in white. Both seem to be sad, anxious...

"It's beautiful, isn't it?"
I turn around.
Matty is right behind me, so close. Too close.
"What are you doing here, Matty?"
He shrugs. "What are you doing here May?"

I sigh and turn back to the picture.
It's captioned "Affair"

"Where's Chelsea?"
"Does it matter?"
"Stop answering questions with a question."
He doesn't respond immediately.
"They seem to be in deep love huh?"
"Kind of...She looks really scared. And he seems to try to calm her down."
"Forbidden love is never easy, May! When you speak out these three words, everything will change and you can never take them back."
"So maybe they shouldn't speak them out loud."
"But it won't change their feelings anyway."
"But it will save them from breaking."

Now Matty turns to me. His eyes are looking over me, like they're searching for something in my face."
"She got a call."
"Who?"
"Chelsea....and where's-?
"Needed a cig"

We both stare at the picture again.
"May...", Matty starts.

"Babe oh my god, can you imagine who called me?"
Chelsea is running over to us.
Matty is stepping a few steps away from me and smiles.
"Who?"
"Do you remember this guy..."
Chelsea is beaming and talking excitedly. A few guys around them are looking at her, but I'm watching Matty.
He seems to be interested in what she says, but I know better.
He puts his hands in his jacket pocket, to not touch her.

"May?"
Tyler is coming back. He kisses me softly and I can taste the cigarette.
He lays his hand on my back.
"Do you want to go?"

Chelsea is still talking to Matty.

"Yes. And thank you again Tyler. I love you..."
I take his hand and we walk to the door.

While I am walking , I can feel Matty's glare, but I decide to ignore it.

The door closes...
