Newt Imagine #8 (request)

Hey gladers! This imagine is for youlittleshuckface. Thanks for being so patient with me lol. Ive been busy with high school stuff. Anywayyy, I know I've messed up the order in which I publish my imagines but after the next one, it will be back to normal haha. Thanks for requesting Ella, and enjoy.

Newt's POV

There Thomas was again. With Ella.

I was standing near them, trying to listen in on their conversation.

"Tommy, did you seriously do that?" She laughed, and playfully punched Thomas in the shoulder.

Tommy?

Why did she call him that? And if she called him that why doesn't she call me Newtie?

Lately they had been flirting a lot and I had just tried to ignore it but Thomas had gone over the line.

I walked over to them, putting on a fake smile.

"Hey, Newt!" Thomas said, casually. "Uh huh, Hi." I replied, as I messed with my dirty blonde hair because I saw that Ella was staring at me.

"How are you, Newt?" She asked me, smiling. "I'm good, thanks." I said, trying to cover the faint blush on my cheeks.

Thomas then, for no reason, tickled Ella. Ella started laughing, which I thought was the cutest thing literally ever, but the fact that Thomas was making her laugh broke my heart.

Anyway he should be working, not flirting.

"Hey, um Thomas? Helloo Thomas?" I asked, as he continued to laugh as he tickled Ella. "Huh? Oh sorry Newt haha." He said, when he finally realised what I'd said.

"Yeah. Shouldn't you be working?" I asked, tilting my head to one side.

"Well actually Newt, I have the whole day off. Isn't that great?" Thomas said, beaming.

"Wonderful." I said, sarcastic.

Thomas, however, didn't notice being too busy laughing with Ella again.

I decided to just leave then, I had my own work to get on with.

Ella's POV

I stopped laughing as I saw Newt walking away. "Hey Newt!" I called but he didn't hear me.

Recently he hasn't been too fond of Thomas which really sucks because Thomas is my twin.

I haven't actually told Newt yet, but I need to.

I needed to find him.

"Thomas I'll be right back." I said, running off to find Newt.

I found him near the gardens, working hard as always. The sun was beating down on him and I watched a bead of sweat run off his face.

"Hey Newt. Can I talk to you?" I asked, suddenly nervous.

He turned his concentration away from his work and to me.

"Ella? I mean uh  sure what do you need?" He asked, in his usual sweet British accent.

"It's about me and Thomas." I stated but regretted it.

Newt rolled his eyes, sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

I wanted to get to the point. "Thomas and I... we're twins." I said.

Newt's frown faded and he ended up looking a mix of shocked and pleased. I giggled at his weird expression.

"Wow, never thought that. It's cool." He laughed, scratching the back of his head.

"Good that." I laughed.

"Hey Ella?"  He asked.

"Yeah?"

"I'd love to... Well I guess... Um... Oh bloody hell I'm not good at this." Newt said, blushing.

"It's okay Newtie." I giggled but then realised what I said. I covered my mouth and blushed.

"Newtie. That's cute, Ella." Newt said, taking my hand.

"You have no idea how much courage that took." Newt said and laughed, kinda nervous.

I looked down at our entangled hands and smiled.

Just then Thomas came over. "Hi Ella! Hi Newt!" He said.

He saw us holding hands.

"Woah I just gotta say, I totally ship you guys together." Thomas laughed.

Me and Newt both blushed.

"Oh c'mon you guys gotta kiss now!" Thomas added.

Newt placed both his hands on either side of my face. I placed my hands on his shoulders and leaned in slightly.

I closed my eyes as Newt pressed his lips against mine, softly at first but then he made the kiss more passionate.

He pulled away and smiled. "Cutie." He said and brushed a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Newtie." I laughed and kissed him once more.
