Cally's POV

I woke up somewhere dark and cold. And dusty. I tried to look move around but there wasn't much space to do so. I was scared. Like, really scared. I couldn't remember anything. My life. Just deleted.

After about 20 minutes in this pitch black box, my eyes started to adjust to the dark. I could see random objects like rope, barrels and crates. I didn't have long to look around because I was surprised by a sudden flash of light. The box was opening up.

A muscular boy with shortish brown hair jumped down into the box. He looked surprised when he saw me. "Guys! The creators sent up a girl!" He shouted to theses other guys who were gathered around staring at me.

He tried to pull me up by my shirt. But I slapped his hand away and got out of that stupid box on my own. "Woah looks like we got a feisty one, Gally." A boy with blonde hair called out from the crowd. I was fed up with these boys but at least I knew a name.

Soon, I found about this place- this guy called 'Alby' explained everything to me. It was called 'the glade' and its surrounded by a maze. I didn't really listen to be honest. I was looking over at Gally who was building something with some other guys.

"Hey, Cally pay attention. Quit staring at Gally and listen." This came from Alby. I snapped out of my trance and listened to Alby and what else he had to say.

It was then lunch time. This guy called Frypan cooked the food around here and when It was served I looked around for a place to sit. I saw a space and I as walked over to it I accidentally bumped into Gally and my drink spilt all down him. "Hey! Greenie! What the shuck do you think your doing?" Gally shouted at me. And then gave me a horrible glare.

"Sorry." I mumbled. But if I'm really honest, I wasn't feeling very sorry. He was mean. I can't believe I found him cute. I was trying so hard not to look at his wet shirt. He then just sighed and stormed off. Obviously annoyed. Ugh. He was annoying. But maybe I could change him...

Later, I was just wandering around the glade because Alby was discussing something with this guy called Newt. Hopefully I would know everyone soon. I walked in front of the builder's hut and saw Gally drawing something on the dirt. A building plan. I didn't care if I interrupted his work, I wanted to say something.

"Gally, what's your problem? Huh? I've seen you acting aggressive towards literally everyone. And at lunch time you over reacted about something so stupid and it was an accident! I know I have only been here a day but I wanted to get to know you earlier. But maybe now I don't want to get to know you since you keep acting so stupid. So... there" I said, crossing my arms.

He stood up and walked over to me. He was scaring me now. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything. I had obviously surprised him with that speech. And it was ckear that people didn't often confront him.

But then he surprised me.

"I'm sorry, Cally. I really am. But sometimes I get stressed and exaggerate over things." Gally said, looking at me. An apology? Wow, maybe I did change him. "I forgive you. And I will try and avoid spilling drinks over you in the future." I said. He laughed. It actually sounded really weird. But it made me smile all the same.

"Are you sure you wanna do that? I thought you were enjoying looking at my wet shirt earlier." He replied. I turned a light shade of red. He shook his head and kissed me on my forehead. I was in shock. But just then I heard Alby calling me. I didn't want to go but I had no choice.

"Well, I'll guess I'll see you tomorrow, Gally." I said, turning towards the door. "I guess you will" He replied.

Gally is an unpredictable guy.

But now I felt like I understood him a little better.
