Chapter 23

Ella's p.o.v.
I was at the Lynchs house with Ross but he was in a family meeting. I walked downstairs to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water when I heard Ratliff yell

"She deserves to know!"

"Deserves to know what?" Riker asked Ratliff said something but I couldn't hear then Riker yelled

"Why the hell didn't I know about this who else knew and mum why would you let that happen!"

"I'm sorry Riker I couldn't tell you" Stormie said I leant on the doorway without anybody noticing me

Riker stormed upstairs. I coughed and everybody looked at me

"H-how much of that did you hear?" Ratliff asked

"Just that Riker screamed at something you said" I said and shrugged

"Also what does she have to know and who is she?" I added

"Sit down sweetheart" Stormie said really nicely which is a thing I love about her

I sat down next to Ross and Stormie said

"Ok you know how Madi's dad died when she was eight and her mum died when she was thirteen?" I nodded and Stormie continued

"Well she was adopted"

Hey so cliffhanger. Ok guys I know that I haven't updated and that this chapter is so short but I have a serious case of writers back and I literally just got home from Queensland yesterday and I'm going to Tasmania today but I will update more. I need your help so can you give me suggestions for my book
