Hazel
"Hey," I say into my phone. I hear a bunch of talking and loud noises on the other end, must be everyone at rehearsal, from what I hear they can be hectic.
"Hey baby, I just saw what was going. Is Chloe okay? Are you okay?" He sounded worried, as I knew he would.
"We are fine. Chloe is asleep right now. I'm pretty pissed off though. I saw these to girl staring at me and having their phones out, I should have known. I didn't even think when I took Chloe to the park. I feel so stupid Harry," I sign, resting my chin on my hand.
"Hazel, this isn't your fault baby. Those girls should have known better to snaps photos of a child, knowing they were going to post it on twitter to try and cause drama. You shouldn't put your life or Chloe's on hold for fear of being recognized. I know we talked about keeping Chloe out of the eye of the paps and I'm sorry that was ruined. Seems like we can't go though with anything before someone ruins it." he chuckles a little. And it's right, first me and now Chloe.
"I know. Im sorry to for what they said about you, it was horrible," I say sadly.
"Oh dont worry about me, I've dealt with plenty of this before," he tells me. "I was thinking, maybe it's not such a bad thing that Chloe's now out there for the world to see. Liam and I were talking and he mentioned that it could be a good idea to get Chloe used to being around all the cameras and people now, so when she is older, she will know how to act around them. If we waited until she was older, she could always freak out." He tells me, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Sidney and I were literally just talking about that," I laugh again, "and I agree. She may freak out if she was older. So I guess this wasn't all that bad. I still feel bad for what they said. How are we going to clear everything up?" I ask, just thinking about how we were going to explain everything to the press so they can stop making Harry out to be some man whôre.
"I was talking with Paul about that before I called you. He said that he will talk with our PR about bringing it up at our next interview that's in a couple of days, or..." He trails off, sounding uncertain.
"Or what?" I ask, urging him to continue.
"I could mention it tonight at the show..." He said cautiously.
"You want to clear everything up at the show tonight?" I ask, incredulously. Why would that be a good idea?
"Yes, what better way to clear things up than in front thousands of fans. People who will most likely be recording with their phones and be unable to twist the story around," he explains to me. That actually makes a lot of sense. If we went to a reporter they could always twist our words around and make things out to be worse than it is. If we did it this way everyone would get the real story, and it would probably spread faster than if we went to a magazine reporter. The only other way it would work was if the boys had a televised interview.
"Makes sense. That would work I guess. Would definitely get around a lot faster," I chuckle.
"It sure will," he laughs, "listen baby, I have to get back to rehearsal. Try not to worry to much, everything will be fine, I promise. I love you and I will see you two later."
"I love you too Harry. See you later." I tell him before hitting the red button to end the call.
I sat there contemplating whether or not I was doing the right thing. I just don't want this to change Chloe, I hope it doesn't make her nervous or scared. I will protect her with every ounce of my being and so will Harry. It's now or never I suppose. It's really to late to even try and cover it up.
