Chapter 34

We got to Philadelphia early this morning.  This week was flying by, just like I told Hazel it would. The shows we had last night and Monday night were a blast. Like always.  Hazel seemed like she was enjoying herself.  I could tell she wasn't use to traveling so much but she always said she was fine. She will get use to it.  It's a different way of living. 

Hazel is back at the hotel, said she was going to nap while the boys and I went to have a meeting with management,  something we did almost every week.  I think we were discussing the new album and I may bring up taking a break. 

I walked down the hall to Paul's room and knocked. I heard someone yell something and I just walked in.  The boys were already here, so was the rest of management. I took a seat on the couch next to Liam. Louis sat with Niall on the other couch and Paul and Susan sat in chairs.

"So, now that we are all here, we should talk about the upcoming album.  It's pretty much finished, a few more tweaks and it will be perfect. You guys should be proud of yourselves, this is a great album. You all have worked so hard, despite everything that's happened with Zayn, you guys didn't let it drag you down. Pun intended," we all laughed.  We all worked hard to get this album done. There were a lot of late nights writing songs and recording and rerecording. This may be my favorite out of all the albums we have done.

"Next, we have to talk about filming the Drag Me Down video. I've already talked to the directors Ben and Gabe Turner and they have everything  all planned out.  Get this- we are going to Texas and you are all going to be astronauts!" Paul grinned, looking at each of us to gauge our reactions.  I didn't care what we did and being astronauts sounds pretty neat.

"I've always wanted to be an astronaut," Louis spoke. Of course he did. Liam and Niall were smiling so I assume they liked the idea as well.

"Great!  You will all be working with NASA on this so it's a great and rare opportunity. We will be going to Texas in a couple weeks to film," Paul mentioned, trying to look serious, trying to make sure we knew now important it was for us to behave. He knew how we could all be goofy and he tried to act stern but he knew he could never be serious with us.  Even though we all acted immature at times, we still took everything seriously.  This was our career, of course we wouldn't do anything to jeopardize that.

I was in a rare mood this morning, I was tired and all I could think about was going back to my hotel room and curling up next to Hazel.

"We will do filming after we are done the US part of the tour. After we are finished in Texas we will head to the UK to finish up the tour there. I think that's all we have to discuss. Is there anything you four want to talk about?" Paul asks us, looking around to each of us.

I should bring it up now. I wait a few seconds, looking at the other guys. Louis looks down at his hands and Niall is staring out the window with pursed lips and Liam looks lost in thought. Well, here goes nothing. 

"I um...would actually like to discuss something," I clear my throat as everyone turns to look at me.  I lean forward, resting my elbows on my knees, playing with the rings on my fingers. 

"Floors all yours Harry," Paul tells me, sitting back in his seat. 

"Well, I've noticed lately how tired we all have been. Not just us four but you and everyone else on tour with us," I point over at Paul and Susan, "we have been working pretty much non stop for the past five years. I don't know about you guys but I'm exhausted." I took a deep breath and looked around at everyone. The boys were all nodding and Paul and Susan were looking sympathetically at all of us.
