For the longest time I thought I was going to be alone forever. That it was just going to be Chloe and I against the world. I had lost hope that there was someone out there that could love me and my daughter. After Derek had left me, my whole view on men changed, my thoughts on love changed. It took me a long time to even put myself out there and I was just let down again when I met guys who would freak when they realized I had a baby.
Harry changed all that. He showed me that a man can love a woman who has had a child and that they can accept their child and love them like their own. There is no doubting that Harry loves Chloe, I can see it in his eyes every time he's with her. Doing what he did last night at the concert was huge, not only was he telling the world that he sees Chloe as his own daughter but he was telling me that, and that meant more to me than anything.
Right now it was Sunday morning, we had just finished breakfast and I was packing up a few extra things for Chloe. I didn't bother packing a whole bunch of clothes since I was planning on giving my mother the key to the house so she can stop over if she needed anything for Chloe. It was going to be hard saying bye to Chloe for a week but I know she will be in good hands.
The boys had to be at the airport by noon so we had to get going soon. I close up Chloe's bag and head out to the living room where everyone was waiting. Placing her bag down next to my suitcase I head over to where Chloe is playing on the floor with Harry. I sit down next to my curly haired boy and leaned my head on his shoulder.
"I'm going to miss this little girl so much," Harry whispers.
"I know, I am too. But we can call and Skype, I've already showed my mom how to use it, which wasn't easy by the way," I chuckled. My mom knew how to use her cell phone and her ipad, which she pretty much only uses for reading, Facebook and Twitter or playing her ridiculous games, anything beyond that was a mystery to her.
"I'm sure this week will fly by anyways, with all the traveling and the shows," Harry says, seeming distant.
"So where exactly will we be going this week?" I ask, changing the subject.
"Well, we are heading to Orlando today for our show Monday night and then Tuesday we head to Baltimore and then from there it's Philadelphia, New York, and then Boston. It will be a busy week. We will have Wednesday off though. I figured we could do something together that night," he looked over at me and smiled.
"That sounds great," I smile back.
He leaned in and whispered in my ear, "do you think you'll still be...you know?"
What was he talking about? Was he talking about my period? Oh god, that was exactly what he was referring to. Why are guys so afraid to talk about it? It's not like you can catch it.
"Are you asking if I'll still be on my period?" I asked, trying not to laugh.
He chuckles and nods. "I don't know, I may be. We will have to wait and see." I tell him.
"I hope so. I miss you," he says nuzzling into my neck, placing small kisses just below my ear.
"My eyes! I hope you two won't be glued to each other this whole weekend. I know being kid free can make parents a little crazy from all the freedom," Louis jokes as he flops down on the couch behind Harry and I.
"Someone's jealous," Harry says, earning a punch in the arm from Louis.
"I am not, I could get a girlfriend if I wanted to. I'm happy being single right now,"Louis explains.
We all look back towards the kitchen when we hear a bang and a lot of laughing. Seconds later Niall and Sidney walk into the living room. Sidney was laughing so hard she was almost crying and Niall was shaking his head as he set down Sidney's three suitcases.
