My name is Evelyn, I'm 17 years old going into my senior year and I absolutely hate school. The only thing that keeps me there is my best friend Anna.
My mom couldn't care less what I do with my life because she is too busy throwing hers away. I don't know what happened, I had such a perfect family until 3 years ago. Everything happened then, my parents got divorced, I moved in with my mom, my old best friend left me when I needed him most, and my dad died in a car crash.
Tomorrow is the first day of senior year yay, note the sarcasm. It'll be day 1 all over again. My bully never leaves me alone and he hasn't for 3 years.
That's another " great " thing about my life. I was best friends with Luke Hemmings since birth until he decided he was too good for me. He left me alone in my sadness 3 years ago. Yes the same 3 years ago my parents divorced and my dad died. Ever since then he's been bullying me. Not just mentally but physically too.
His words cut deep like a knife, cutting further and further till I can't take it anymore. Everyday I get called worthless, stupid, ugly, and freak. I want to know what happened, we were so close. He used to protect me from bullies until he became one. He doesn't bully anyone else, just me.
Anyways Anna is over and we are playing monopoly, I'm losing terribly.
" Haha!! You landed on Board Walk pay me $2,000!!." She yelled jumping up and down laughing.
" Why did you have to put a hotel down!" I whined handing over ALL of my money.
" YESSS BABY!" Anna yelled doing some happy dance which made me laugh.
" That was fun anyways I gotta get going." Anna said packing up
" Alright I'll see you in the morning right?" I asked hopeful
" Definitely, I'll never leave you." She said hugging me
" I love you Anna." I said into her shoulder
" I love you too Evy, now get to bed and get a good night sleep." She said heading out the doors.
" I'll try." I said as she waved bye to me.
Well maybe this year will be better? I hope so....
