Evelyn's pov
Anna went home to go spend sometime with her mom and see how she is doing while Luke came over to my place.
I'm so happy being able to call him mine.
Right now he is making me some lunch while I sit on the couch watching the Lion King.
" Ouch!!" Luke yelled
" What happend are you alright?" I bellowed through the house not wanting to get up.
" Yeah, I just burned myself making us toaster waffles." He explained
" Luke only you would burn yourself on toaster waffles." I laughed as I made my way into the kitchen.
I took a seat at the table while Luke finished up.
" Here you go madam." He said putting a plate in front of my face making me giggle.
" I made you two toaster waffles with syrup, chocolate chips, and whipped cream. Enjoy." He said as I started laughing
" Thank you chef Luke." I said as I took a bite.
" Luke! These are amazing!!" I yelled as I took a huge fork full.
" Thank you I bought them myself." He said making us both laugh.

After we ate and cleaned up we decided to walk to the park.
" Are you sure your okay?" Luke asked for the millionth time.
" Yes Luke, I broke my arm I'm not paralyzed." I chuckled
" Okay just making sure." He defended laughing
I looked down at my phone to check for texts from Anna and when I looked up Luke was gone.
I turned my head and saw him sprinting towards the slide. I laughed and ran after him.
Once I finally reached him I saw he was stuck.
" Luke I think your too big for the slide." I said. I couldn't stop laughing.
" I'm not to big, see..." He said as he wiggled down the slide like a worm.
" Lu-Luke st-stop I-I can-can't brea-breath." I said cracking up.
" I'm not that funny." He said as he tried to get out but failed.
" Trust me, you are." I said
When I said that he smirked, pushed himself out of the slide, and then chased after me.
" Ahh Luke stop!!" I cried as I sprinted through the woods.
I kept running and I didn't look back. Once I ran out of breath I stopped and took a breath while I looked around.
I didn't see Luke anywhere I hope I didn't lose him in these woods.
" Luke!" I called looking around.
Nothing
" Luke!?!" I yelled louder.
All of a sudden a pair of arms spun me around and I came face to face with Luke.
" Ouch! Luke my arm." I yelled as he let go.
" I'm sorry I didn't mean to. Are you okay?" He asked worried
" Yes thank you." I replied
" Where were you? Didn't you hear me calling for you?" I asked
" I was over there." He said pointing to a dock on a lake.
"I've never seen that before." I replied.
It was so beautiful.
" It looks abandoned." He said leading me to it.
We sat down on the dock and just looked around in silence.
" You know, this could be our little place no one knows about." Luke said
" I'd like that." I said as I looked at him
We looked at each other for so long until one of us said something.
" I-I think I love you." He blurted
" Re-really?" I asked shocked as he nodded his head.
" Really." He said
" I think I love you too." I smiled
All of a sudden he leaned in and so did I. He kissed me. It was sweet, it felt like time stopped, it felt, amazing.
" I love you Jones." He smiled
" I love you Hemmo." I giggled
