Agag and I are walking through the forest, heading towards where he told the Guard to meet him. He keeps a watchful eye on me while I'm lost in thoughts.

"You okay," he asks.

I look at him and sigh. "I will be."

"Glace, I know you want to find answers badly but putting yourself in dangerous situations like this isn't going to help."

"I understand, but if I find the answers it will reveal a part of my past only God knew existed."

"Alright, we do this as quickly as we can. We're nearing the cliff. Turn around," he says, and I listen.

He wraps ropes around my wrists behind my back and reaches to tie a cloth over my mouth, but I stop him. "Listen, Agag. Before we go, I want to let you know that anything I say or do isn't true. You know that right?"

I turn and look at him. He is stunned for a minute. His eyes are filled with...adoration. "Yeah. I know. The same goes for me."

We both smile and I turn back around so he can tie the cloth, which he does. He takes a deep breath and pushes me forward. I trip over, but keep walking. I know it is part of the act.

I stumble through the bushes and Agag is behind me. We reach the cliff where the trees stop and there is a big horde of guards. They are all lined up on each side with one man in the middle. His back is turned, so I can't see his face though.

"Move," Agag says darkly from behind and shoves me forward.

Each guard has a weapon in hand, ready to be used if necessary. I pray it won't be. Every eye is on me, watching my every move.

We made it in front of the man, who is tall and built. He turns around and my heart drops. It is the same man I saw through the crackling of the fire. Who is he? I think to myself.

"You have no idea how long I have waited to come face to face with you again," he says and leans in really close. The voice of his is very deep and very stern.

Confusion spreads across my features and he laughs menacingly. "That's right. You don't know who I am, do you? Or what you have done." With the last statement, his brown eyes turn cold and his frown deepens.

I am even more confused at this moment. What did I do to him? I don't even know him. I think to myself.

It must have something to do with your lost memories. Just keep up the act and we'll be fine, a voice in my head replies and I assume it's Agag.

"It's so funny to see how badly you want answers. And to think that you won't get them because you are going to be locked up, along with your panther friend as soon as we can get to her. Isn't that right, Agag," he looks to Agag and smirks.

"Yes sir. I'm closing in tonight. They won't know what hit them," Agag responds.

I flinch. I know it's part of the act, but the way he said it makes it sound so...real and menacing.

"Look, she's afraid of you now. I wonder if she actually thought you loved her," the man chuckles and Agag's grip on my arm tightens briefly.

More confusion. What does he mean by that? Was that suppose to be a part of the deceit? Agag, I ask through the connection.

There isn't a response for a minute until he answers. I can't explain now. I will later.

"Take her away," the man says.

The guards open up a path to our right and Agag shoves me in that direction, as expected.

We keep walking towards the city and away from the Guard and the man before Agag speaks. "Sorry about that. The Lord forgive me. I can explain what he said."

I try to answer but all that comes out is muffles. I have forgotten about the cloth on my face. So I speak the through the connection. Its okay, yes He will, and please do.

"The original plan was for me to trick everyone by getting close to you. I was going to do it too, but it's impossible to betray someone after you get to know how wonderful and Christ-filled they are."

I feel heat rise to my cheeks and I look down. Why does the man only want Twi and I? What's so special about us, I ask.

"It's a long story. You know how Ligero only can bend light and I can only bend fire," I nod and he continues,"You and Twi can bend two elements and they want to know why. The Guard haven't just been trying to get rid of us, they also want to learn more about our species. That's why they wanted you two alive."

I think I understand now, but who was that man anyways, I ask.

"The man's name is General Alvo. I don't know much about him. I do know that he was recruited when he was 29. Rose through the ranks quite quickly, and had lost his wife, brother and sister-in-law."

That poor man, did he have any children, I ask.

"He had a niece, but he doesn't talk about her."

I see, I say as I am deep in thought.

"We're here, keep your head down."

I do as he says as we walk up to the gate. I can only see a little bit of it, but I can tell how many guards there are. Good thing we took the silent approach.

One of the Guard walks up to Agag and starts talking to him. After he does, he walks in front of me and jerks my chin upwards.

"Look at who we have here," he boasts,"little Miss Ice Princess. How long have we been chasing you now? Around 5 years! And look where you ended up."

"Alright, that's enough. I've got to take her inside," Agag stops him.

The man looks at him and heads back to open the gate.

Thank you, I say.

Your welcome, Agag replies, Now let's be careful.
