2 ❣ Pizza Bliss

"Unnie! Are you still asleep? Mom said to wake you up now or we will be late. Unnie! There's food! You like food! Unnie!"

I groggily opened my eyes and found Suin jumping on my bed, trying her best to wake me up. I rubbed my eyes and asked her, "What time is it, Suin-a?"

"It's 10:52! We're leaving at 11 AM!" she shouted in my ear. This kid can be very active at times. Well, make that most of the times. It's as if she eats sugar everyday and gets sugar rushes.

"Mwo?! I don't have enough time to get ready with such little time—"

"I'm kidding, unnie! We leave at 12 PM," she added before heading out of my room, giggling.

Aish, sometimes I wonder if there was a little devil inside her.

With the limited time, I quickly showered and got dressed. I was really excited for Soonyoung's birthday party. I even already have a gift ready for him. I bought it when Soonyoung and I were out hanging out together. I spotted the perfect sweatband for him and I think it will suit him very well.

Soonyoung is always going on about sweatbands and every sweatband he comes across just suits him so well. Or is that just because I think it suits him very well? Oh, gosh. My heart is already flaring up early in the morning.

"Min Jae-a, are you ready?" I heard Mom ask from beyond my closed door.

"Just a moment! I'm almost done!" I shouted back, struggling to brush out the tangles from my hair. Once I was done, I fumbled my way to the door and opened it.

Mom gasped loudly as she said, "Omo! Omo! Look at you, Min Jae! You look so beautiful!"

"Really? Er... thanks?" I answered. I guess it was no big secret now that I did my best to look my best for Soonyoung's birthday party. I wore a mini dress with sneakers to match and tied my hair up into a neat ponytail and put on a diamond headband. Okay, maybe they weren't real diamonds but they still glow and sparkle like them.

"Uwa! Unnie is so pretty!" Suin said, coming over to Mom's side and hugging her arm. There, Suin is finally acting her age. To becompletely honest, it was creepy seeing her act as if she was eleven.

"Yes, she is. Now, let's go. Your father is already waiting downstairs in the parking lot with the car ready," Mom told us, pushing us to the door.

After a short drive, we finally arrived at Soonyoung's birthday party at Cheezeria Pizza. I absolutely love pizza and was happy enough that he was having his birthday at my favourite pizza place. He asked me where would be a good place and I just jokingly suggested this place. Who knew he would take it so seriously?

Oh, no. I'm getting nervous again. I get nervous whenever I'm about to see him again but I've been doing well on hiding the true meaning of my actions around him for years. Ten years, to be very exact. It's like no other boy matters except for him.

"Unnie! Look! There's a playground there!" Suin excitedly pointed out of the car window and into the restaurant, where there was playground filled with kids playing around.

I smiled at Suin and said, "Yes, there is. I wonder if your friend... Yunho, was it? I wonder if he's coming."

Suin's cheeks flushed red. "Unnie, that's nonsense. This is Soonyoung oppa's birthday party, so why would he come?"
