15 ❣ Unfolding The Pages

"Jeon Wonwoo." I eyed him carefully. "It's you, right?"

"Min Jae." He smiled. "You look great. Our little Min Jae has grown so much."

I felt a pained shot in my heart when I heard him say 'our Min Jae'. It reminded me so much of Soonyoung. "You've grown, too. You're more handsome now."

"And you're prettier."

There was a sudden silence.

"Min Jae, I'm sorry about that time," he suddenly apologized.

"Why are you apologizing? I already forgave you a long time ago. We're fine, Wonwoo," I assured him, gripping onto the towel a little too tightly. "If you'll excuse me, I have to get to work before I get scolded."

"You work here?" He sounded surprised. After a while, he just nodded and said, "But then, I'll just leave you to it. I'll just order."

"Okay." I nodded and continued wiping the table. Wonwoo had already ordered and took a seat somewhere while I wiped another table. Joshua then came and said I should rest. If not, I'll overdo my wrist.

"Hey, do you know that guy?" Suri asked, pointing at Wonwoo.

"Yeah," I answered. I eyed her and asked, "Waeyo?"

"Well, he kept looking at you while you were working..." Suri paused then suddenly blurted out, "Could he be a pervert?"

I lightly slapped her shoulder with the towel. "Yah, that's mean to say. He's not a pervert. He's a friend of mine."

"You sure have a lot of guy friends, Min Jae," she noted.

"I do? I never realize that." I put the towel away and the spray in it cabinet. I washed my hands and noticed that Jihoon was watching me. When he noticed my gaze, he quickly looked away.

"Min Jae! Come here! It's time for another training," Minhyuk then called. He was a handsome guy with blonde hair that suited him and was four years older than me.

"Nae!" I answered back. Everything that has happened so far, I decided to let them go and see if they would come back and haunt me. When that happens, I will carefully deal with them.

Mihee: hey! nabi and i are going on a trip next week! want to come? we're going to a village in the mountains! it's going to be fun!

I hesitated on answering. I knew she wasn't any harm now that she was dating Dong Jae, but she was still the person Soonyoung liked. I just don't know what to do right now.

In the end, I just tossed my phone back on the counter of Secret Station. It was Day 2 of me working here and I must admit, it's really fun being able to work here.

Jihoon visits the cafe everyday, saying he was asked by his uncle to check on the staff. But when I asked his uncle, he said he asked Jihoon to do no such thing. Now I was suspicious of him.

When it was finally my break, I took a seat with him and stared at him with a smile.

"What are you doing?" he asked me, staring at my action.

"Trying to smile as innocently as possible until you tell me why exactly are you coming here everyday," I answered, keeping my smile in place.

"You are curious about a lot of things, Min Jae," he noted, taking a sip from his cup of mocha latte which Joshua made.
