11 ❣ ACHOO! My Lips Tickle

"Hey, Soonyoung," Jihoon lightly greeted him, standing up to give him a pat on his back. "I have to go now."

"Wait, Jihoon." I also stood up. Now we're all standing up. Yipee. "Where are you going?"

"Ho...me?" he answered reluctantly. "Were you expecting a different answer?"

I opened my mouth to ask him about which house but I remembered that Soonyoung was standing there so I shook my head. "Head home safely."

Jihoon nodded and smiled a small smile before he began walking off, his hands in the pocket of his jacket.

My eyes wandered to Soonyoung, who was panting a little. I asked him carefully, "Were... you looking for me?"

"Min Jae, we've been looking for you for some time now. Where did you disappear to? Why didn't you answer your phone?" I knew that Soonyoung wanted to scold me about it, but he kept calm.

My eyes met my sneakers. "You guys called so much it killed my phone."

"Why didn't you go back home?"

This time, I took a seat back and looked away from him. I could feel my eyes getting watery as I remembered my parents fighting. They were always good to each other. So seeing them fight, it was almost unimaginable.

"I... was afraid," I replied, my fists clenching once again. "I was afraid. So afraid I didn't know what to do. I didn't even know how to return home on my own."

I didn't know what Soonyoung was feeling right now because I was looking away. I didn't know whether he was mad, upset, disappointed or sorry. But I felt him sit down next to me. On the seat Jihoon first sat on.

"Something happened again?" he asked softly. That was the voice he rarely uses. He only uses it when he wants to draw me in and make sure I tell him the reason why.

"My parents fought, Soonyoung," I told him without hesitation. "Money problem. I used to think that everything was okay, but I forgot about the fact that there was the no. 1 problem in life. Financial problems."

"What did they say?" Soonyoung asked carefully.

"My mom was scolding my dad. Something about what he was doing with the money he earned. I heard he didn't pay my sister and I's school fee for two months now. I don't know what to do, Soonyoung," I said, defeated.

Soonyoung wrapped an arm around me and pulled me in closer. Automatically, I leaned and rested on his shoulder. It felt natural now. It felt right. Who could stop the feeling of falling in love? Who could stop that?

"If you want to cry, just cry. Don't keep it all in, Min Jae," Soonyoung whispered, resting his head on mine.

My heart was racing like crazy but I somehow managed to keep calm. I thought I would be like a broken robot who was stiff but I somehow managed. "No, I've cried enough. I don't want to keep crying now."

Even if I couldn't see it, I knew Soonyoung was smiling a proud smile. "That's the Min Jae I know."

Suddenly, an idea struck me and I let out a loud gasp. "I know what I can do to help!"

Soonyoung sat up properly, his head lifted from resting on mine. "What? You have an idea?"

"Yup!" I replied excitedly. "I'll get a part-time job! I'll give my salary to my dad and mom."
