" Nina tell me what's wrong " Nathan pleads while following me around my house.
I look at him and let out a frustrating sound . I can't believe he requested Lana to his mom . He knew how long I wanted this internship but he chooses his girlfriend instead of his best friend . Also , he is taking Lana to go to that football game tomorrow instead of me .
" Just tell me the problem " He says as we walk in the kitchen and take out the jar of Nutella .
"Okay it has something to do with me because you always eat Nutella when you are mad at me " He say making his adorable thinking face which consits of his eyebrows close together and it creates a crease in between them . His hand covers his mouth as he thinks with his wide hazel eyes staring out a far distance .
I take out a spoonfull of Nutella and put the jar away . I sit on top of the counter with my legs folded . I felt satisfied after the hazelnut chocolate goodness goes in my mouth .
" NINA " Maria says my name out loud make both of us jump. " Stop binge eating your feelings away and tell your best friend what's wrong " she continues with her hands on her hips .
I pouted at her as she gives me the look of disappointment . This is obviously my weakness so I sighed . Maria gives me an encouraging smile then leaves .
Nathan leans over the kitchen island and gives me the loving puppy dog eyes . I licked off all the Nutella of the spoon and rolled my eyes .
" You told your mom to choose Lana as her new intern and you knew I wanted that spot " I said hopping off the counter .
" Dam it , Nina , I totally forgot " He says running his hand through his hair now thinking . " It's just that Lana need this job more than you . This offer is going to help her " he says and I was starting to feel guilty . He frowns at me which makes me feel more worse but I decided to apologize .
" I 'm sorry " We both say at the same time while I continue to eat another spoonfull of Nutella .
Nathan takes a spoon and decides to join me in on eating the Nutella . Our phones beep which means it's from the group chat .
Diana - Bonfire at Bryan's house tonight
Nathan - I'm in
I look up at him as he smiles at his phone .
" I need to tell Lana " He says scrolling through his phone . " Hey , do you think it will be okay with the group if I add Lana to this " He asks as I look at him confusingly .
This group chat has been a like this for 6 years straight . We never added anyone else since it was only for us . We never added anyone's girlfriend or boyfriend . This is breaking the rules because now she will sort of become one of us .
" Sure " the word slipped out of my mouth and regret it right away. Nathan gives me the smile that is to die for with his dimples being really easy to see . Oh gosh , I love his dimples .
Drew - How do you know Bryan is having a party at his house ?
Diana - Don' t worry about it !
Lana - what is this ?
Tina - HEY LANA!!! I guess Nathan added you to the group chat .
I lock my phone after since I know the messages will go on forever .
" Are you going ? " Nathan asks me and I give him the face expression of not wanting to go out .
" Oh come on Pina Colada " Nathan says as I get off the kitchen counter and decide to walk to the living room . He follows me as usual .
