Chapter 12- A Mistake

Nathan's P.O.V

I can hear Nina coming up the staris with the balloons she gets me every year for my birthday . She thinks she is quiet but I can sense when she is around
. I watch as my door slowly opens to see her tip toe in . I close my eyes pretending to be asleep. She thinks she has a suprise for me well I have one for her ,too .

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY NATHAN " Nina screams jumping on top of my bed . She jumps some more and then sits next to me .

She smiles and then gets up to scatter all the balloons around my room . I tilt my head to the side to check her out. She is my best friend but like come on even I am smart enough to know Nina is hot .Not only that but gorgeous. That is why I am over protective of her . I still can't believe I told her that I love her even though it was just a mistake . I should've think about it more than having than awkward conversation .

" Get up your mom is making your favorite breakfast " She says sitting across the room and going on her her tumblr page . She is obsessed with that website .

" No I don't feel like to .I just want to sleep in " I said while grinning since I know I am pushing her buttons . Nina turns around to glare at me .

" Nathan Fredrick Hemsworth . You are now an adult so stop acting like a child " She says pulling off the sheets and a loud scream escapes from her as she cover her eyes .

I burst out laughing as I am lying there butt naked on my bed . Charles , my older brother runs in with a bat as Sebastian is right behind him trying hard not to laugh .

" What is going on in here ? " Charles says with a smirk as he thinks he knows what's up . He always visited us on special occasions with his wife and two kids .

" Just already in my birthday suit " I said getting out of bed and pulling over my boxers .

" Not cool Nathan " Nina says still covering her eyes .

" Oh come on you saw me naked before " I said laughing again .

"Yeah when we were like 6" She says as Sebastian guides her out . I guess she will be traumatized for the rest of the day .

I take a quick shower and get fully dressed this time . I come downstairs to Nina setting the table with my dad's help as Charles and my mom brings the food .
Charle's wife , Lacey , tries to get my two nieces to settle down and get in their seats . I love them so much that I will kill anyone who ruin their happiness .

" No, I want to sit next to auntie Nina " Layla says making us all stop what we are doing . She is only 6 years old

" Why do you say she is your aunt ? " Sebastian asks finding this amusing .

" Cause she is married to uncle Nathan " Lelia says clapping her hands together . This one is 4 years old . Everyone burts out laughing as I look at Nina to see her smiling . It was the best smile I've seen yet . She looks at me and then sits next to my niece .

As we all eat , we fill in Charles about what is going on in our lives since he decided to move to Pennsylvania instead stay here in New York . I miss having him around but he has his own family . I hope one day to have a big family with a wife that I will be truly , madly , deeply in love with .

Nina and I walk into school side by side ignoring all the stares. Girls already came up to me in the parking lot telling me happy birthday which I kindly thanked them for . I just feel bad not knowing any of their names but they know mine . Thankfully , I have Nina who does so she whispers it to me.

Finally, we see our friends by the library already talking . Nina runs into Levin's arms and kisses him .Diana pretends to gag as Nina rolls her eyes .
