Chapter 7 - Figure Some Things Out

Nathan's P.O.V

I play with my gum wrapper as Lana gets in the passenger's seat .

" Why can't Levin just pick up Nina himself " She asks in a frustrated .

" Because I live closer to her and he does come back until this Saturday " I said putting the wrapper in my pocket and driving away . " I thought you guys got along at the sleepover " I assumed .

" Yeah we sure did " Lana says in a sarcastic tone .

I am still confused with this whole Nina thing about if I actually like her more than friends . It's impossible. Why haven't I discover this feeling earlier ?

"I don't get why you have a problem with her " I said trying to defend Nina .

" I don't get why you always have to defend her " Lana says while I look at her like she is crazy .

" Lana , I don't get why you always have to get jealous ever time when it comes to her " I said back sarcastically .

" Because from what I hear from your ex's , you always put her first " Lana says crossing her arms . Of course she will go to my ex's .

As the three of us enter the school , it was like we just robbed a Christmas store . There were Christmas lights every where , Christmas trees in every corner , a candy cane drive , mistletoes and fake snow . Our school always like to go all out when it comes to Christmas due to our community having an annual contest of " The Merriest House of all " . Last year , Diana's family won but there is a tough competition this year from the freshman .

" I should start a toy drive " Nina says as we walk to our usual meet up spot with our friends . She has such a big heart that I don't think anybody in this school would've think of starting a donation for toys .

" You should go talk to Mrs . William to see if he can make it happen " Lana says looking forward since I am in between them . Mr. William us our principal nods her head and walks away from us . I can still smell her signature perfume roaming around me .

I don't even know what's happening to me and why I am feeling this way ? I need to figure it out before I go crazy . Maybe I already am but who knows . Maybe I can ask Drew or Levin for help . Wait ,no Levin will kill me if I tell him about the way I think about his girlfriend .

" Nathan, if you are not going to listen to me then I will just go " Lana says kissing me quickly and walking away .

She keeps turning around as I lean against the wall watching her go. God , I have to keep treating her better but how if I am all tied up with Nina .

" Staring makes you look like a creep " Briana says as she comes up to me with her new boy toy .

" Oh so I heard . Who is this ? " I asked nodding towards the guy .

" Dude , you have a such a big ego that you don't even notice that I am in your physics class " He says stepping up to me . I don't what took over but him saying I have a big ego ,raged me .

" And who are you to judge " I said stepping up closer to him .

" You are just some stuck up rich boy who is on the football team and all the girls waste their time just staring at you " He says as Briana had a confused look in her face .

" What in the right mind makes you think I am that kind of guy ? " I said walking away from him since I didn't want to start anything . He was just some guy I really didn't know well enough to have a worth less and petty argument with .
