The men exploded from the trees, screaming bloody murder. They came waving swords, knives, guns and nets. A few were even carrying rope. We were surrounded within seconds. Corey, Zedd, Quinnie and I were all standing in a protective circle, back to back, as the men came toqards us from all directions. "Corey..." I wispered cautiously. "I know, I know." He said back. "I should have known. Its all my fault. You don't need to say it. Now we are going to be taken and tested on and-" "I was going to say," I interrupted. "Look out." And as the men advanced,

I set the world on fire.

I closed my eyes and raised my hands out from my sides as waves of fire eruped from within me, burning the trees and setting fire to the men. I knew in the back of my mind that these men wanted me hurt. I had to stop that from happening. I walked to the nearest man and put my hand to the side of his head. I imagined that his blood was turning to fire, and then he was on the ground, screaming as lava coursed through his body. I went onto then next guy, thrusting my hand at him, and suddenly he ran off, trying to douse the flames he was now drowning in. The other 15 men suffered the same fate. I was dimly aware of Corey calling out my name calling me to stop. Maybe I should stop? I thought but thought against it. This is better. This is what these men deserve. The last men standing suffered burning from the inside out. I left one man out, one of the men that were carrying nets. He tried to throw it over me and I burnt it to cinders. I was about to boil his blood and set his body aflame, but someone grabbed my arm, pulling me back and away from the groveling man. I turned around, about to burn him to ash, until I relised it was Corey. His face and clothes was covered in ash and dust. He had tears leaving white trails along his face and his eyes were red. "Please." He begged me. "Please Luna, stop this." I looked around and looked at all the chaos I had made. All the trees in close proximity were burnt to a stump, crumbling and dead. The leaves and grass were still crackling and the ground was burnt. I started to cool down as I relised that I had done it all. In a few minutes I was no longer expelling flames. I looked around and swiped my hand in an ark, putting out all the fires that were still burning in the trees and turned back to the man I had left still standing and couched down so I was eye level with him

"If I let you go," I snarled "You report back to whoever it is that sent you and tell them what happened here today. You tell them, that if they want their entire army to end up like your comrades, that they should think twice about coming after us again. And if they don't belive you? Wonder how a couple of kids can kill off the men they sent? Well, you show him this." With that, I grabbed his arm and set my hand alight. He screamed but I didn't let go until I had made a deep imprint of my hand on his arm "You show them that. Now scram." He stood up and bolted. I turned around and saw Corey looking at me, with a look that could only be described as horror. I just sighed. Why does this always happen? I thought sadly I try and help. Do the right thing. But no. He will never trust me again now. I dont blame him. I wouldn't trust me either. "Come on." I said. "That was only a scouting party. We better keep moving before more come. Lets go" And with that I turned around and started walking, leaving the others with no choice except to follow me.
