I sat down slowly and reluctantly into one of the chairs on the other side of Mrs Charles' desk. I looked at each of them in turn and slowly breathed in and out. Counting to 10 again and again until I was more or less relaxed and was no longer at risk of lighting something or someone on fire. "Well?" I asked sharply. "If you have something to tell me one of you had better start speaking otherwise there'll be hell to pay." Everyone looked on edge as they all looked to find something to say. "Luna," Mrs Charles said quietly "I know this must all come as a shock to you..." I raised an eyebrow and tilted my head. "A shock to me?" I snapped "You haven't even told me what's going on yet! Well? Don't just stand there and look at the floor, my face is up here. I want someone to give me answers right now or I'm just going to get up and leave." The other ocupants of the room looked at eachother expectantly, having a silent conversation until Mrs Charles sighed a large sigh and looked at me with sad eyes. "Luna... I've been trying to find a way to tell you without you freaking out..." she said quietly "I didn't want you to find out like this..." she choked out a sob then, covering her mouth with a fist. There were tears in her eyes. Taking a shaking breath she said "Truth is Luna... your being hunted." I fell back into my chair then, taken aback. "Umm... what? Im what? Im... what?" I asked, completely confused. Then suddenly I was very angry. I could feel my ears burning. Literally. There was smoke curling off from the side of my head and I looked up as it licked the celing. "And why," I asked quietly "Didn't you tell me sooner?" "Because..." Mrs Charles said raising her hands in a form of surrender "If we had they would have found you sooner." I calmed my breathing down again this time counting to 30. I looked up and, gripping the arms of the chair looked her in the eyes, silently told her to continue. She released the breath she was holding and explained.
