Oh my god. I thought as they left the room. Oh my god. This can't be possible. Mrs Charles?! Who in Gods name is this Corey kid and what does he want? This has gone on long enough.... I hopped out of bed and walked towards the door. I was surprised with how well I got there. Before I left the sick bay I looked at the miniature map of the school and traced my finger along the lines that lead to Mrs Charles' room. I found the quickest route and the one that avoided the Slut Squad and their class. I waited a moment before opening the door because I knew it would be freezing. The nurses always keep the sick bay warm. I opened the door and quickly walked over to Mrs Charles' office. I managed to get there without confrontation with anyone and I knocked twice quietly on the door. "Come in" I herd her say. I prepared myself and opened the door. I walked inside and I saw that Mrs Charles was sitting behind her desk and Mr Diggs was standing behind her. Corey was sitting in the chair in front of the desk and swivelled around in his chair to look at me. "Oh, Luna!" Mew Charles exclaimed in relief. "I'm so glad you are alright!" I didn't say a word as she got up from behind her desk and came towards me. She was about to put her arms around me for a hug but I backed away. "Don't touch me." I said "You lied to me." Mrs Charles looked confused and she reached out to touch me again but I swatted her hand away. "Don't touch me." I repeated, with more anger. "Luna, what's gotten into you?" She said with hurt in her eyes. "What do you mean? What's wrong?" I was definitely angry now and I could feel my hands starting to heat up. "What's wrong?" I said with my teeth clenched "What's wrong? I'll tell you what's wrong. You lied to me! How could you? And what about you being my "protector"?" Mrs Charles's face dropped. "And you" I snarled pointing at Corey. "How am I different? And what about this rune stone? Why did it light up when you saw me?" The room was silent for a moment. "Luna," Mr Diggs said quietly "I think you had better sit down."
