About an hour and a half we had enough fire wood and camping stuff to last us the night. It probably would have taken us less time, if we could see straight, walk straight and think straight. Corey wasn't kidding when he said it would take a day to ware off. My vision was fuzzy, like I was looking through a foggy window. I could hear muffled sounds and a slight ringing in my ears. I was swaying and stumbling and occasionally stopped to chase or run away from something that wasn't actually there. I was completely delusional. And I loved it. I felt amazing. And judging from what I was feeling, I doubted Corey would be much better. A glance in his direction proved that my theory was correct. He was just as bad as me. He kept stumbling and running into things. He was falling over and shaking his head. Occasionally he would laugh and start talking to himself. He stood still for a second, probably trying to get his bearings but he was swaying so badly I was afraid he might topple. I giggled watching him, knowing I probably wasn't much better. "Corey!" I called out giggling. I noticed I had a slur to my words and laughed even more. Corey didn't hear me, so I stumbled making my way over to him. In the distance Zedd and Quinnie were shaking their heads and looking away every time we bumped into something. Luna, Zedd said into my head. We are headding back to the campsite. Be careful. I laughed. Ok. I said back. I stumbled over to Corey, who was having a conversation with a tree. "Corey," I giggled "How are you?" He looked at me. His eyes were unfocused and bleary. "Im fantastic. This is my favorite part about that. The feeling when we finnish!" He said happly, with a stumble to emphasize his point. "Maybe we should head back now?" I asked absent-minded. "Yeah." He said a slow grin etching his face. "You wanna go by shaddow again?" I looked at him with a smile. "I thought you would never ask!" I slipped my hand in his and suddenly we melted into shaddows.
This time, I felt even more dizzy then when we first traveled off the roof. Maybe it was the fact that I had already done it or maybe it was just my imagination. When we got back to the campsite and become 3D again I laughed and colapsed to the ground. The world was spinning and my body felt like it was flying and falling at the same time. My head felt like I was on a bed of clouds but my bones felt heavy, like it was carrying 1000 bricks. The world started to warp itself, twisting and shaking. I saw dots of colour floating through my vision and I clumsily reached out to touch them. I couldnt sit up straight without swaying or falling over so I shuffled backwards until my back was against a tree. I was feeling so giddy. I looked over at Corey, accidentally turning my head too fast and causing balls of light to fly into my vision, and saw that he was trying to stand upright. He tried everything but he gave up and colapsed next to me. We both laughed and with some difficulty, I managed to light the fire. Corey leaned against the tree and sighed. "You know..." he said thoughtfully. "You are the first person to ever come with me on a shaddow trip before. And the first person I have actually trusted with my powers. And the first person to ever call me their friend? Why did you call me your friend? I have known you for 2 days. And I like weird music and books and I can control an army of shaddows and I get made fun of and-" I shushed him with a finger to him mouth. "You are my friend," I explained "because not only do we have to stick together as a team from now on, but I was your friend when I fell on top of Cindy and you came and saved me when the Slut Squad beat me up. These past 2 days have been the most eventful of my life. And I can control fire, and turn my fire to lava, and do many different things with my lava. If anything, your the normal one out of the two of us. And, you can practice your powers. I cant. You have a limitless supply of shaddows at your fingertips. Have you tried shooting fire out of your fingers? It dosent go so well." I said with a laugh. My words were definitely slurred now. But I didn't let that stop me. The world was still spinning and my head was thumping. My vision was swaying and blury. It was probably swaying because I was swaying but I still felt amazing. I never wanted this to end. "And..." I added as an after thought. "I love reading as well. I have mountains and mountains of books at my house. Thousands. And your not too alone with the music you listen to as well. I just so happen to like All Time Low as well." He looked at me, with unfocused eyes and swaying. "Really?" He asked, surprised. "Mmmmhmmm." I said nodding. "And Set It Off. And Fall Out Boy. Oh, and Black Veil Brides. Your not the only one." He laughed. I looked over at him and saw that his head was dropping and he was starting to fall over even more. Before I knew it, I could hear gentle snores coming from Corey and muffled words. I took a moment longer to reflect on how I was feeling. The dizziness was almost overpowering, but I found it calming, soothing even. The world was drowning in colour and things that weren't even there. I was seeing everything in a different light, as though for the first time except I was seeing it through a thick layer of ice. I felt wetness on my face and relised that I had been drooling. I reached up to wipe it off but only made it to my chest, where my saliva had made its way all the way down to my stomach, leaving a pool of spit. How bad must I be, I thought, If I cant control or realise that my body is not doing what I want it to? I ignored it as I couldn't care less. I tried to stand, but I only made it to my knees as I toppled over once again. Everytime I tried to stand, my delusion was getting worse and worse. By the time I gave up and sat back down, my mind was so addled I went to lie down but I couldn't find the floor. Or if i did it was falling under me. I just gave up and lent against the tree again. I looked at my watch and eventually got to read it, even though it wouldn't sit still. I relised. I had spent 2 hours just sitting there, reflecting on being dizzy. So I at last, closed my eyes, and fell asleep.
